I am so happy I chose Remington Moving & Storage for my move across town. Coordinating the date and time was very straight forward. Kim has excellent communication skills, and the movers confirmed the appointment the day before. Having had a terrible moving experience in the past, I had a lot of anxiety about this move. The guys at Remington were so professional and nice! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was packaged safely and securely. I highly recommend using this moving company. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Kim and the team at Remington Moving did a great job with our studio to 2bed move. They give reasonable time frames and followup, and gave a credit for being stuck in traffic. Despite being on the lower price end to other movers servicing similar areas, they were still fast, clean, and didn't let any items become damaged in transit. I would happily use them again.

We set up for them to move for us. The date of the move, they changed the time on us several times. We went from starting at 9 am to possibly starting at 12 pm to them then arriving at 5 pm. It was nice for them to at least arrive even tho it was so late. But the people they sent were not professional and I did not feel comfortable with them moving our belongings. The day was a complete waste of time and energy when we were supposed to move on this specific day. Very very stressful. I should have read these reviews sooner and never chosen this place.

Will lowball you for damaged items, even when they're entirely at fault. There's a reason why they're rated so low.

These guys have moved me three times and all the moves have been wonderful. Cesar and his brothers are professional competent movers on the trucks and both Kims who book the moves and take your payments are so pleasant and easy to work with. If you want professional movers who are on time, speedy, careful and pleasant you can't go wrong with Remington. Did I mention they move on Sundays without charging premium rates? I'll always book with Remington!!

NOTE: This is a review for a move within a 3 mile radius in Glendale, CA. I was a little concerned about this company after booking, and upon reading the Yelp reviews. "But what could really go wrong" we thought, "after all it was only a three mile journey from our rental house to our new purchased family home." We met with a woman called Kim, and she addressed our concerns and gave a reassurances that they were a reliable and professional company. Nothing could have been further from the truth. First they came in to pack, and it was a whirlwind. Little did we know that our possessions were literally just throw into boxes, without any care or consideration what-so-ever. Post moving, and upon opening these boxes, it was as if everything was simply thrown like it was trash being cleared out. It is the most violating feeling to see you items like this. No care, no organization... lots of broke items. Horrible. On the first moving day, a group of what looked like ex gang bangers arrived at our door. I say that because of all them had gang tattoos across sculls, faces, necks and arms. I am not judging, as I believe in giving anyone the benefit of the doubt, but combining this with the UHaul truck they arrived in, well you get the idea. We were not off to the professional start we had been promised. During that day, numerous personal items were dropped and broken. Irreplaceable items that @ $.66 per lb in insurance rider would simply not cover. To make matters worse, one of the crew who was pulling a dolly with heavy items, scrapped it along my car leaving paint damage to the front and side. Also, my $4K specialized road-bike, that I told them not to move, was loaded in a truck, badly scratched and left with a buckled front wheel that costs $400 to replace. Then to add fuel to the fire on what was already a hellish day, on of the genius movers decided to dump all of the toxic silicon filler from my kick bag, across the back yard garden grass. "It was too heavy" was his response. So yes, a toxic spill rounded out the day! That night I called to speak with the woman Kim that we originally met, and whom had made numerous reassurances and promises; only to suddenly discover that Kim had turned into a man! Backstory, apparently there is a nice lady called Kim who comes and does the appraisal and a whole other Kim (man) who manages the crew...talk about bait and switch. This fella was not helpful at all, but said he would speak to his crew and ensure things were addressed. The next day, only half a crew turned up. One was literally unable to walk without assistance, two were so obese that I thought they might have heart attacks and the other was just plain useless. Our items were moved in complete disarray and placed in random places without any coordination or organization. It occurred to me that I had hired monkeys, not professional movers, plain and simple. Much of this was my fault. I should have read the reviews before booking this company. I should have seen the red flag when they told me they didn't offer insurance outside of $0.66c per lb of damage, and I shouldn't have looked for the best deal... but I did, and now all I am left with, is a nightmare of a story to relay to whomever reads it. The moral of this story. Do your homework. Ask about their trucks, professionalism, insurance policy... as for references and check them.. but better yet, pay the extra for a real company and maintain peace of mind and a stress free move.

This is one of the worst moving companies I've ever worked with. They broke my $500 table and said they would only pay me $.60 a pound!! That's ridiculous and if you value your belongings don't hire them. The owner is horrible and they over charge. I plan on calling the BBB for how unprofessional they are.

Unprofessional and incompetent. My move from the SF Bay Area to Houston, TX was originally indicated to take about a week. I didn't receive my belongings for over a month. Kim McNair, from Remington, never returned my calls and kept promising that my shipment was on its way. Eventually I found out that it had been left in a warehouse. The movers were hours late for both pick-up and delivery, even though they said they were "on their way." No one from Remington acted professionally or honestly. This is only a small portion of the ineptitude that this moving company displayed.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a reliable and honest moving company. The workers handle everything with care, and I was very impressed.
