Most amazing boots EVER and the coolest store shopping experience to boot (pun intended). I get more compliments on my Pskaufman than on any other shoes I own. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Okkkk let me tell you. I’m on my third pair of these boots. The quality and craftsmanship is unreal. I order from Canada and the care that goes into each boot with personlized thank you’s. If we can all support business like this we would only need these boots and nothing else. Except love ❤️ Best boots ever

I haven't been to the store, but I have purchased shoes and boots from the website. Great unique products in this age of mass production. Great customer service.

I LOVE his shoes and him. He is very helpful and goes above and beyond to help you get the shoes you want. I have purchased 3 pairs of shoes from him since December 2020, and I plan to buy more I'm the future.

I walk the same way to work every day and I never knew that this shop was here. The shop in itself is totally beautiful. You can tell the owner is a creative-type person- an artist- someone with a great eye. The boots here are made by someone who is a master at their craft. I am the kind of person whose feet always hurt because I wear the worst shoes. These are the opposite of the junk I wear- they have the most comfortable linings and springy rubber soles. In an age where things are built to be disposable this place is anachronistic. You can tell this is top quality stuff and thoughtfully designed- in a way you usually only find in vintage footwear. I will come back when I have more time to try stuff on. A true DTLA gem. Check out this shop if you want to see the neighborhood from the view of a local.

I'm on my second pair. These are heirloom quality boots for rebels leaving nobody behind. Their quality and comfort are only surpassed by their striking looks-- I have pointed toe Chelsea boots and polished Derby's, which draw equal attention. PS Kaufman goes all the way in making the most extreme version of the shoe they set out to make, with Goodyear wefting, hand stitching and an amazing footbed. I only wear PS Kaufman. You probably should follow suit.

This place is one of LA's hidden treasures; I want to buy everything here. The quality, uniqueness, and comfort of the boots/shoes are addicting, making you always wanting more (especially if you're following their Instagram page). Make sure you get a chance to chat with Paul. He is a genuine and knowledgeable cobbler, a creative genius. He and this store deserve all the 5-star reviews.

Awesome and unique shoes! Verrry confusing to find because the maps on your phone will take to the side. It's down an alley way and then you'll see the store! Call once you arrive so they can let you in!!!

Not sure what this place looks like normally but we went to the Mercado Los Olvidados event over the weekend. The space was nice, and the art was even better!

This is my favorite shoe brand of all time. This magical boutique is exactly what you would expect of their artistic designs. They are meticulously made and artistically designed. They took the time to make sure the pairs I purchased fit perfectly. I will be back!

They're not just shoes - it's an entire concept. Sara is an amazing and inspiring assistant. Paul himself is genuinely one of the most knowledgeable people cobblers I've ever met. His keen eye for design is always churning out interesting innovative things. I got donated twelve pairs of shoes and replaced them with one pair of Chelsea's. Never felt better. The space itself is artful and stunning, worth a visit just for the experience. Do it. do it do it.

I came here after seeing a colleague of mine wearing shoes by this brand, and since I was only a few blocks away I ducked in after work. The entire store is wonderful--it's a slightly labyrinthine artsy set up in a basement, tucked away from the crush of downtown. What seemed like one room turned into several, and each of them had not only a wonderful array of shoes, but art and props, as well as jewelry and bags. The whole place had a curated touch of clutter to it, which I found really refreshing after the minimalist trend. The saleswoman was really helpful and easy-going--she let me poke around to my heart's delight, and explained the displays as necessary, which included some unique pairs that were being sold after use in photoshoots. The shoes were all gorgeous, and the owner spoke to me with enthusiasm about how they're made and how his decades of experience informed his decisions--without up-selling or being at all overbearing. I don't leave Yelp reviews unless I really enjoyed the experience and the product, and I definitely did here. The shoes I ultimately bought were a steal on sale, have been incredibly comfortable from day one, and come with leather conditioner and information with how to contact them if I have any follow up concerns.
