John Han is a solid guy if you need a construction loan. Fast, professional and has the best rates and service. He definitely has your best interest at heart and is willing to do Whatever is necessary to get your loan closed.

This bank just keeps getting worse. I have been receiving harassing phone calls from their Los Angeles office. Threatening me to take down my Yelp review. Li Yu and Wellington Chen are unprofessional executives. Terrible terrible customer service. Terrible unprofessional staff. Avoid avoid avoid.

Neg 1000 Stars. I deal with the Chico Branch on a loan created by a fraudster we discovered when property went into foreclosure. Preferred Bank is a special kind of hell. Didn't go online until 2018 (yes, 2018). Searching for statements I discovered they were mailing the statements to the bank ie to themselves. Every step of accounting and tax prep is a nightmare of emails indicating they run two books: one in excel spreadsheets, the other in incomplete online transaction histories. They manipulate transactions and constantly adding new conditions to create massive fees, then don't show the fees paid in transaction histories; this on a loan: value of 25%! Not even a risk! AVOID LIKE PLAQUE.

One minor thing I requested - did not get what I need and this is what I went through to get a no: 3 times I was hung up on, about 4 times I was transferred to voice mail and everyone I spoke with was rude. Why do you keep hanging up on me? I asked and what does he answer? I did not hang up on you, this is the first time I talk to you.

What a horrible bank. I was hung up on 3 times. four times I was transferred to a voicemail. Everyone I spoke with was rude and shifting the blame to me as to why they were hanging up. So either they hang up or they simply send you to voicemail and the problem does not get resolved.
