Pico Glatt Mart is a relatively small, great little neighborhood grocery store and Kosher Glatt Persian market. It specializes in Kosher food, with everything being kosher, clean, and fresh. The market packs a large punch, offering a nice selection overall of typical and atypical food items. It is full of Israeli products and also carries lots of other items. They have a good sized fresh produce area with a very good produce section and a nice variety, including Persian cucumbers, pears, and persimmons. There is a nice hot food area with excellent lunch specials like salmon, chicken, beef kabobs, beef stew, and spaghetti, served with sides. The hot bar is super delicious and the baked salmon rolls are a favorite. The prices for the hot food are extremely reasonable and they give a lot of food. There are also very good cold pre-made food items prepared daily, with the hummus and tahini, made fresh daily, being a standout favorite. The market has good prepared foods, an excellent baked goods section with a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads, and a butcher counter with some fresh fish. They have very good sushi and a large selection of wine. Customer service is often described as super amazing with delightful staff, though the friendly neighborhood feel can sometimes be lacking. Parking can be an issue in the tight lot, so street parking is suggested. All in all, it’s a great little grocery store worth a visit.
