I truly believe anyone who has written a negative comment about this beautiful sacred space has the complete WRONG idea...and have shared nothing but false accusations about one of my favorite people in the world-the owner Cheri. This place has changed my life for the better, she believes in me when I struggle believing in myself. She's a bad a**, boss woman, strong inside and out, beautiful soul inside and out. She genuinely cares about her students. I truly believe Peace Yoga is worth experiencing for yourself to see how magical she is and her attention to detail of her studio. Not only is she an amazing teacher she's an AMAZING chef.

There is not a single yoga studio in Los Angeles that compares to this place, because it is not just a yoga studio. PYG is a community center, where low vibrations and frequencies are not present. A community built around honesty and open non violent communication, come see Cheri Rae (the owner) for a fresh young Thai coconut, or her phenomenal wrap that will fill you with nutrients unlike anything you've enjoyed before. Heart warming communication, deep beneficial advice and the opportunity to build friendships with foundations in authenticity. Body healing, Healing through healthy food and community. The best yoga you'll find outside of India, is one of the many incredible things you'll find in this temple.

What a great place with knowledgeable people! We just had a 2 hour exalted experience with top notch freshly squeezed juice and organic figs to add to it.

The owner is Extremely rude and takes the time to make sure she can make you feel less of person. I will never attend this business ever again.

I reserved a class with this studio on class pass. I was very excited to go to yoga at this studio because I am a long time vegan and the class description sounded amazing. I arrived an hour early for my class to give myself time to park and find the studio. I paid $8 for parking. I looked for their storefront, and found a place that looked like a yoga studio but the door was locked and there was a metal grill over the door. So I kept walking, and I tried calling the business. No one answered so I kept looking. I spent 45 minutes looking for this studio and called them a total of 7 times and tried texting the number, no one answered. I finally found another building entrance and a security guard showed me how to get into their back door, but when no one was inside the business he told me that it was closed and I have to leave. I am never wasting my time on this place again. Apparently they close at unpredictable times.

Owner complains about class pass. But I wouldn't have been there otherwise. There's no structure to the class. It's kinda whatever the owner felt like, when she wants to start, what she wants to talk about, and it can end up being taxing, when you came to relax. This yoga place is for a certain type of person, certain type of community. The space is underground and very awkward. I like my usual Modo and Boheme, where you just get yoga and not the extra life dragging commentary.

My home away from home! Every time I come to Peace Yoga Gallery, I don’t want to leave. So many beautiful souls blow through these doors, and I’m beyond grateful to be a part of this community. The “real yoga” vibes of Peace are exactly the style of yoga I was looking for, and the only place I can find these kinds of classes in DTLA. It is an honor to practice below the amazing art pieces of Amanda Sage, and Cheri Rae is a rock star!

Just called and asked the angry woman who answered the phone how much a membership was instead of answering the question she told me to look on the website. I then asked her about the week trials they offer and she began to talk about her personal problems that she can't do those anymore because her rent is 5k a month. As if we all don't have rent to pay. I would NEVER recommend this place. NOR is she giving the energy you want to feel or be around during yoga. Very naggy and rude can't imagine her running a 'peaceful' yoga center. Lol

Signed up for a 9AM class and arrived at 8:50AM. The gate was down and no one was answering the phone. I waited till 9:10AM still no arrived to open the gate. If early morning weekends are tough don't set up a class that early and waste peoples time/gas.

Update: so last time I showed up to the studio at 6 am on a Monday and the teacher was a no show! So I decided to message the teacher on Instagram and see what was going on. She apologized and then offered me two free classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 6 am. She told me that she is currently looking for an instructor to fill in the morning spots on the other days. So I showed up again to the studio at 5:45 am waited until 6:20 and again the teacher was a no show! Wasted my time once, and continued to waste my time twice! I even messaged the instructor on Instagram when I was there wondering what was going on and where they were. I eventually went home. Later that day I saw that they read my message on Instagram and then never responded. Not even an apology and it's been several days now. I ended up going to Boheme Yoga just up the block a bit and attended a 7 am class. It was great! People were actually there and the instructor was great! I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for a reliable place. But I do not recommend this place if you are looking for reliability especially for morning classes. Complete waste of my time! I feel disrespected. A simple apology or even letting me know beforehand that there would be no class would have been nice... but being ditched twice at 6am when it's dark out in DTLA is not fun. It's actually quite scary.

This is not just a yoga studio, it's a community of teachers, quality vegan cooks, ancient medicine and ceremonial healers, musicians, masseuse, huggers and just a place where you can go and hang out and meet new people who are invested in themselves. Classes include different types of yoga, sound baths, medicine sessions, cleansing sessions, medicinal dance amongst others.. place is always evolving...
