Vet was super helpful and got a shot and medicated shampoo for my Frenchie that has allergies, made her itching go right away. This place is also great at quickly getting prescription medication approved even when you buy the medication elsewhere, and everyone there is super friendly. Love this place

Very patient with my one cat who is a little testy. Also, good service from the front desk to the vet tech to the doctor. Kept me informed of the test results and suggested solutions where appropriate.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Rattan of Park La Brea Veterinary Care for many years. He is a caring and very competent doctor. I highly recommend him.

We can't thank Dr. Rattan and the staff at Park La Brea Veterinary Care enough for taking care of our sweet little cat Tilapia! Tilapia started out as a stray cat that moved into our front yard almost 4 years ago. She won us over by being super friendly and talkative - but we noticed that Tilapia had something wrong with her eye. As the years progressed, Tilapia's eye only got worse as it started bulging with severe glaucoma. Eventually, Tilapia decided it was time to leave the streets behind and adopt us. She moved into our apartment over the summer, made herself at home, and never left, haha! At that point, we knew it was time to get her eye checked out. After visiting another vet and an eventual referral from my aunt, we took Tilapia in to see Dr. Rattan. He suggested we have Tilapia's eye removed (enucleation). We went ahead with the procedure and couldn't be happier. Tilipia, who we also found out is over 14.5 years old, recovered quickly (in a matter of days) and now she's a beautiful little one-eyed pirate. She seems happier than ever, too, now that the pain from her glaucoma is gone. The treatment our cat received at Park La Brea Veterinary Care was world class. Their prices are reasonable and you can tell that the staff really care about your animal. We'll definitely be coming back to visit Dr Rattan in the future. NEVER GO HERE! talk about a scam...
My dog has been on the same flea medication for 10 years! it has been given to me by this vet.
I made an order for more and hey declined to give it to until I made an appointment. An appointment for what? why would i need an appointment when my dog is happy and healthy? they said it was the law but coudnt show me any laws or regulations stating this. Its not about the money, its the principle! No one should have to pay to have someone look at your dog for 2min to give you the flea medicine she has been using for 10 years. If my dog was sick that would be a different story. She doesnt even have fleas at this time, i just ran out and want to make sure she wont get fleas this winter.

Dr. Kiarash Safatian and his vet Tech were amazing! I wish I remembered her name because she deserves a shout out!! They are both really kid and real. We took our cats in, their price for the appointment, meds and spray+wipes for my cat were all really good priced as well! Didn't feel like we were rushed or uncomfortable at any point! We are grateful and thankful! ?

I had a great experience at Park La Brea. We were able to get in on Monday and the vet saw us right away. They were able to treat my kitty and he is now doing so much better.
As an update, I had to go back because my kitty was sick again, but it was a great experience again. They were able to quickly see my kitty and offered a solid solution. The people at the front desk were very kind - one of them even helped me bring the food I bought out to my car.

I took my two cats here. This office is wonderful. The receptionist Raegan was really helpful when one of our cats escaped the box I brought her in. Rory, the tech, and Dr. Jason Rattan were also phenomenal. Great local vet.

Been taking my boy burly here for 5 years and I now commute all the way from Venice still just because they’re the best I’ve found. It’s hard to trust vets and they’ve never been anything but accommodating and helpful there. They’ve take us in for everything from emergency allergic reactions to last minute maintenance issues like flea meds, allergy shots, etc. I definitely recommend this place. ♥️

We came here after adopting our two kittens since we had a voucher and they happily took us in and we felt welcome after our first visit. The staff is friendly and so is the veterinarian. If you're looking for a primary vet clinic I would highly recommend this place.

I specifically asked for the vet to see our cat and told you guys that I have to be inside the room with our cat as the medicine you were supposed to give was in an other language and our vet told us that giving more than the required dosage would endanger our car's heart. You are irresponsible. I even started the process with LA County for an official complaint but did not want to bother dealing with you back then. You did offer me the tech appointment and I declined back then and you said you arranged it and lied when I came saying that you couldn't have done that as the vet was not working those weeks. Not only you guys lie but you also don't have any concerns for pets' health. For anyone whoever is considering this place, I recommend to STAY AWAY!
