Bought a large ticket item from the east coast. Parcel pro sent me a tracking number that they themselves cannot use to track an item. Wait. What? It only updates online once every 24 hours. Day of expected delivery? Crickets. Nothing. No idea if it is out for delivery. Parcel Pro rep just shrugged and said, we can't track it, you'll need to contact the seller. The seller is closed for the evening as they are three hours ahead. It's Friday. So either it shows up or I have to wait until Monday to start the process of tracking it or filing a claim. Based on reviews below it doesn't bode well. I can track a ten dollar package from Amazon right up to how many stops away it is so I can know exactly when it will arrive. Parcel pro package worth thousands tracking. Zip. Nada. Ask sender to use any other company but this one to ship something to you insured if you don't want frustration from start to finish.

If you want an ins/shipping co whose actual charges exceed their estimates by 60-100+%, in part bec they calculate pkg weight based on dimensions rather than actual, and whose "account reps" are too busy to return calls/respond to emails, then ParcelPro/UPS Capital is the outfit for you!

There are many other shipping companies that offer the same services as Parcel Pro, use them!! 2 days in a row, Parcel Pro picked up my package from FedEx when they should not have. I was only aware of 1 package that they had. It was addressed to me, they should never have taken it from FedEx. They never called me to tell me they had a package, I had to track them down. After jumping trough hoops just to get my package released, I learned today they had a second package of mine. They lied about contacting the shipper to inform them of the mistake. How do I know they lied, because I was the shipper. I supplied the air bill for the return package. Why didn't they tell me yesterday when I was picking up the 1st package? Incredible waste of time dealing with them, they act as they're doing a favor correcting their mistake. There are other shippers, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

For those of you who use ParcelPro or are thinking of using ParcelPro to insure packages, be careful. In general, I don't think any insurance company wants to pay a claim, they just like to take your money and then find a way not to pay out... (One gem dealer at the AGTA Show in Tucson was telling me decades ago, that he never insured his packages as the likelihood of damage or loss was minimal, and he saved money. He said that in many years of shipping, he had one issue, and all those years of no issues and no outlay of cash for insurance previously, he was still way ahead of the game).Well, I had a package that was sent out of the country back in mid-March (2020). Sometimes the whereabouts of the package cannot be tracked (used USPS International Priority) on line, so we were in the dark on the exact where abouts. Customer inquired about it, but from past experience, I knew that Priority, could take a month to get to places outside of the U.S. I copied and pasted information from other dealers who were indicating that packages sent abroad were taking a long time, and also indicated the same from the USPS website; DHL and FedEx could be slower than normal also. I actually wanted to send the package via FedEx, as it would arrive in like 2 days or so, but the customer wanted to save money. More time went by and I assumed that the package was received and all was well, as that can be the norm of some customers - no acknowledgement of receipt, no comments, etc. Customer did reach out again, so started a search on USPS side. Also submitted a heads up to ParcelPro that there could be a problem. I filled out more paperwork for USPS as well as ParcelPro. Weeks later, ParcelPro denies the claim as it is past their 60 day time limit. All companies/businesses have changed their policies due to the current pandemic because it is NOT Business As Usual, but not ParcelPro I guess. I started the paperwork about 70 days after the package was checked in with USPS. I only waited this long as everyone and every business was stating things were moving slowly, not to worry, etc. For a $200+ sale, I have put perhaps more than $500 of my time into doing the receipt, insuring the package, creating customs declarations, driving to the PO (about 15 miles round trip), communicating with the customer, communicating with ParcelPro and USPS, filling out forms for both companies, etc. and I'm stuck thanks to ParcelPro - out of the cost of the item, my time, the insurance, the International Postage, etc.Stay away from ParcelPro - if they don't understand there is a worldwide pandemic and modify business a slight bit to accommodate, I won't be using them so be forewarned of how they may operate and save yourself frustration and money.... Next time, there will be some other reason not to pay out.

We have been working with parcel pro for seven+ years. Their staff at the downtown office are awesome. Nice people and always willing to help. However; you need BE AWARE WHEN SHIPPING HIGH VALUED ITEMS. Their insurance claim department is extremely rude. Never responds to give you an update when you need them. The have collected Thousands of dollars in shipping insurance fees from us Every MONTH. We have barely ever had any claims in the past sever years. Last month we had a customer who claimed they didn't receive the item. Tracking 1Z2E696VA391857784. We fully insured it for $38,200. They decided not to accept the claim. All they said is that The GPS of the Truck was at the location. Instead of a real delivery signature there was just a line on the signature confirmation! They said they looked for cameras in the neighborhood to see weather the driver delivered the package, but they couldn't find any. As a result they decided not to cover the insurance claim. I'm nobody to judge whether my customer is honest or not. Whether the driver is honest or not. However, after working with a company for years and paying them hundreds of thousands of dollars in business, you would expect them to have your back when something goes wrong. Specially when I fully paid for insurance coverage. So Why do we buy insurance coverage? I will be notifying Diamond Club and other Diamond Dealers in the industry that Parcel Pros Insurance (UPS Company) is useless. They might as well not insure their packages & Ship with Fedex or Malca Amit instead.
