Every potential customer should read the many reviews that all have the same theme; POOR QUALITY and TERRIBLE customer service. I am a three time customer of Pampa since 2010, my recent purchase in July 2023 I received poor quality and defective furniture sold by Alec, I have been attempting to resolve the issues for MONTHS. They refuse to make it right. Just know, you will be gas lit by Alec. He claims everything is “normal”. They deny there is a problem.
Many emails and visits to the store to speak with Alec, Ive offered for someone from Pampa to come inspect the couch and rug. THEY REFUSED-then more than two months later suddenly want to inspect. Too dishonest and Im not comfortable with their shadiness. Small claims case against them pending since all attempts to resolve this amicably have failed. Potential customers, save yourself the headaches IMO!
This goes to show how PAMPA values their products and their customers. I was charged additional $1000 for “high performance” fabric. I explained I wanted FIRM cushions. Didn’t get firm.
The cushions are crooked, each cushion is different-lumpy and bumpy, frame is uneven. The finishing is terrible. I’ve included some pics below. The rug I purchased SHEDS worse than any dog yet Alec claims this is all “normal”. These items are defective and poor quality IMO.
Their customer service person Karina/Karen made excuses why they couldn’t deliver, they refused to commit to any particular day or time and made this the most difficult delivery experience I have ever had. Some of the excuses the customer service liar Karen/Karina gave me was the delivery truck broke down, suddenly the delivery driver quit, they have to borrow a truck from an employee, on and on! When I asked to speak to a manager she claimed there was nooone above her, when I asked to speak to the owner, Dolores Caffaro, she claimed she was on permanent vacation. Unreal!
I was so fed up with the lies that I had to go talk to Alec in person to try to get my stuff delivered. He told me he knew how horrible customer service is but there is “nothing he can do about it” unless I emailed the company. I did email. Turns out the email goes to Alec. They never responded to any of the issues mentioned in the email.
They are so dishonest and don’t stand behind their products (IMO) they are nice up until you pay. To sum this business up with Alec’s own words, “we have been in business 33 years and a complaint or lawsuit wont affect our business”. Customers should prove him wrong!
They offered to restuff the cushions. Alec pretends he doesn’t understand the issue! You cant restuff DEFECTIVE fabric! I offered a compromise-make new cushions. They refused that-of course!
They purposely request cash/check. Why? Because then you can’t dispute it with your credit card. PAMPA looks out for PAMPA in my opinion.
If you read other reviews of this business, in my opinion and experience I find them to be very accurate of what you will potentially experience as well.
Their reply here is an absolute lie. I never refused an inspection initially, they contacted (Oct 2023) more than two months later for an inspection and after they received a letter of demand before court case filing. Too many lies! BBB complaint was closed because we couldn’t come to a resolution. It wasn’t closed in their favor despite their weird belief that it was. I also haven't changed my mind about any issues. I complained upon delivery and then started to look closer and inspect it further. The stuff is also totally falling apart now so the issues have gotten worse. All Alec does is lie and deny. It is now the reason I dont want them in my house because they are so crazy dishonest. What he forgets to say is he offered me $180 for all the issues yet they claim it’s all normal. These are the type of lies you will get if you purchase from Pampa too in my opinion. Buyer BEWARE!!! Pics below, the vacuum pic is one

Ordered an absolutely stunning bed from Pampa! 5/5 stars throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend. I looked at the bed in store, hand picked the finish I wanted, and spoke to the owner who has great taste and was very helpful. 5 weeks later my built to order bed was ready! Delivery team super professional and assembled the bed. The quality is 10x better than anything you’d order from a CB2/Crate Barrel/West Elm and I love that it’s built here in LA. Will definitely be back.

This is by far my favorite furniture store in LA! I've been furnishing my apartment and I cant stop going to Pampa. They have the most beautiful high quality furniture, and at a much better price than other designer furniture around the area. It's a worthy investment and I'm so happy :) also a big shoutout to Martin for always helping me out ! I went there with a map of my place and all the measurements, and he helped me pick out the best items for the space I have ! Thank you Martin. I'll definitely be going back soon!

Great experience with Martin. Ordered a cloud 5 piece sectional a month before moving into our new place.Delivery went smoothly AND the delivery team noticed a tear in one of the sectional pieces which we did not notice. They called right after (without our prompt) and let us know the replacement piece would be replaced the following day. Very honest and efficient.Will be returning for more furniture at this store. Great pieces and prices.

Pampa's a place where you can go and know you'll walk away feeling good about your purchase and great about the quality and design esthetic you're bringing back into your home. Martin, especially, is a game changer. He's so incredibly wonderful to work with and helpful in every way, shape and form. I would just love to be friends with this guy! So knowledgeable and patient and kind. I'm very picky when it comes to taste for my wife and I, and Martin helped us every step of the way, with a smile. Can't say enough about Martin and Pampa. Thank you so much for making our shopping experience a dream!

Came to Pampa in need of a new bed on short notice. Most other stores gave us a lead time of 4-6 months but we worked with Martin at Pampa and he helped us customize a bed to our exact specifications and promised delivery in 3-4 weeks. Martin was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Best of all, he delivered on his promise and actually had the bed ready in 2 weeks with everything done exactly as we had asked. We loved working with Martin so much that we came back a few weeks later to have some custom nightstands made. Once again Martin was super helpful and the nightstands turned out great. Can't recommend Pampa and Martin enough. Will definitely be back!
