If I could, I will give you less than one start. Why ? because these people are so unprofessional so I bring my car to do smog check, they say all it’s going to be $70. I say OK that’s OK , just because this is the one closer to the DMV little overpriced of curse ! But I needed to return to the DMV ASAP ! so they after 30 minutes they come up with bad news. They say the test didn’t pass I asked them why, they say my car was everything ok but VVT System Didn’t pass , they explain me it was because my car looks like it was reseted recently and maybe the computer was not showing how much my car has been drive . So to pass the test they said just need a little drive in the freeway for about 40 miles and that’s it , so I took my car for a drive , and I came back , they put the scanner and they say the car was still no ready , they told me to bring the car to the freeway one more time . So I went to Santa Monica beach again , they ask me to no pass de 60 MPH , (they didn’t mention that at first tho ) so I went for a second time and come back and they say ok still no ready , ok lets some day pass , at least one week just drive it and come back they say ! What a bad service they are so unprofessional! Why they did’nt mention that at first ! I spend my whole day trying to get the smog check done , I went to spend gas , my time I pay for nothing , oh and wait ! I still have to pay another 60 dollars to get the certificate in case I passed ! Can you believe that paying double ! Plus they are so rude , they have NO manners to treat people! Bad bad bad ! Don’t go there save your money and your time ppl !

Guess what? I've finally found an incredible auto mechanic to take care of our company vans! I was about to give up and accept expensive dealer service center prices, along with the inconvenience of a 35-minute drive each way. But then I discovered this amazing auto shop behind Best Buy. Let me tell you, this place is fantastic! They're always ready to help whenever I need something fixed or checked. Plus, they use top-quality OEM parts and offer the best prices in town. If you ever have car troubles, go here and ask for Avo. Just tell him James sent you!

Bad customer service and bad service.
You wonder if they know what they are doing.

I went here for a smog check. They seemed nice but werw scammy, and ended up charging me $60 for a smog check that they said I wasn't ready for when they could have checked for that beforehand. I've been looking for a new mechanic for a while and if they would have been decent and checked my cars ability to be tested prior to the test I would have used them whenever I needed a mechanic in the future. Instead, they got my $60 but will never get another cent from me. There are quite a few cheaper places nearby, including ones that will let you test again for free if you fail. Do your research and don't end up scammed like I did.

Omag used to be my go-to guy whenever I needed anything fixed on my Fiat 500. He was efficient, fast and very reasonable. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. My last visit was a complete disaster.I had purchased 4 new tires that I needed installed as well as a smog check for the DMV.When I approached him at 10:30am (after first calling to verify whether it was an appropriate time, which he assured me was indeed), he was far more stressed out and abrupt than I've ever seen him before. His shop is usually quite busy, but it appeared he was now taking more than he could handle. He informed me to just leave my car key in the car and he would call me in a few hours when the work was completed.By 4:45pm, I still hadn't heard from him and decided to check in (I had told him that I needed to be at work at 5am the following morning so I would need to retrieve my car that day). When he answered, he seemed to have no idea who I was, but then suddenly remembered and told me to be at the shop by 5:30 pm. After arriving at 5:30, I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for my car.He told me that a part needed to be replaced below the battery which they removed and replaced after installing the new part. The bill was so much more than I expected (last time I had 4 tires installed, I was charged just over $100). This time, I had to pay over $450 (I was charged almost double what competitors charged for the snag check). However, I thought that my car would be in much better shape based on my previous experiences. As soon as I turned to exit the garage, there was a loud clicking sound coming from below the engine on the axel. Omag said it was just the hubcaps (which I seriously doubted), which he had reinstalled and the sound seemed to go away. However, the sound persisted after leaving the garage and Omag told me to bring it in the following day. When I returned, he just had his mechanics put the hubcaps back on again. I wasn't reassured and Omag had clearly become impatient with me so I just decided to deal with it.The following day, my car wouldn't start. It seemed my battery (which worked perfectly before) was the issue. Luckily, I had a portable jump and was able to jumpstart it, but caused me to be late for work. Upon inspecting the battery, I noticed that three of the nuts were missing from the connectors, leaving the battery connectors loose. He had failed to reinstall the battery properly. At this point, I no longer trusted Omag and just took care of the problem myself, but I feel my car is in far worse shape than it was before he worked on it.I remember Omag had said earlier that he wanted to retire. I feel that, for the safety of any of his customers that is a very wise idea.

We came to the DMV and realized that we'd forgotten to get a smog check. We were about to try to find a place when we turned the corner and found Omag's! Getting in couldn't have been easier, and Aaron helped us right away. He was very nice and walked us through what would happen quickly and efficiently, and we were good to go! Service was a breeze, and unlike other shops we'd been to before, they took as long as they quoted us, and we were able to get back to our day quickly.
