The basement has a unique speak-easy-vibe wine bar that includes a performance space. The staff is knowledgeable. The prices are fair. The wine is delicious!!

I've attended 2 music events at the modern speakeasy downstairs:1) A Jazz Band2) Beats & Beer Pop-up with Beatnuts DJ & Emcee Psycho Les, Beatjunkies DJ Carlos 'C-Los' Menendez, KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez, and DJ Blackmuseumist. They spun ALL-VINYL with some funky dope blends. If you don't know about them, you need to find out...get some new friends lol and this is the place where you can connect with people over music. Oh, folks were dancing their tails off. It was hard to sit down. I didn't want to go home...Both times were a major vibe.The space creates an intimate ambiance with a slight minimalist feel because of the decor--keeping it simple with aesthetics and functionality. There is a music room and a conversation room close to a bar that serves a plethora of unique craft beers and wine only. Beer server (or Beer Meister lol) knows how to help you select the right brew for your appetite. He was extremely helpful and patient with me. I appreciate him.Prices were reasonable--probably the lowest prices I've seen in LA.I had a brief conversation with the owner, Marcus. He is talented, brilliant, and funny. He is a sommelier who meticulously curates his wine selections. I will definitely start buying my client gifts from his wine shop.Parking was easy. I choose to park across the street in the lots. There are tasty food vendors in the shopping plaza if you need to order something.

Laugh city comedy.This review pertains to the last city comedy performance that happened on April 29th, 2023.The day before I'd gone to an open mic around about the same area that was so god-awful, I needed to try again and find another comedy show that would make up for how awful that one was. Tonight was incredibly successful.We only had an audience about seven people, with five comics. But this entire experience was a world of difference from yesterday's experience. For one thing, this is a wine bar that hosts comedians, rather than a comedy venue that has some dollar jello shots available for your convenience. Another thing is that the comics weren't all locals who only knew each other, these were people who had actual careers and travel is part of their work. And while everyone was friendly with one another, they were first and foremost professionals and absolutely delivered. The final thing is that there were more audience members than there were comedians. The audience got along well, the audience and perform a dynamic was good, it was just a good night.The venue itself is a little confusing. The top floor is the primary sales floor for a variety of wines, downstairs is a wine bar. Behind the wine bar is a small, tiny intimate venue for performances that can host probably 20 people comfortably. The wine selection is excellent, the staff or knowledgeable and pleasant, the comedian selection was good... In every way that yesterday was terrible, tonight's performance was amazing.I highly recommend. I thoroughly plan on bringing several friends to the next performance.

Dec 2022/NYE: Why not laugh into the new year, right?! Haha! While a Comedy Show on the beach was canceled, because of an incredibly rainy day, Oeno Vino saved the day! My 3 friends & I had a blast on our road trip to Atwater Village at a NYE Comedy Show!Vibe/7 PM Comedy Show: Friendly, intimate seating with a speakeasy style, which we enjoyed! The type of laughing that you can't help but laugh out loud more than normal! Hahaha! The Comedians were plentiful, as well as seriously hilarious & from a variety of popular networks! We had fun laughing the night away...underground, as the comedy show is located down a maze of stairs with cute little doves painted on some of the steps!Drinks: Their is a wine store upstairs with an incredible array of wine, select craft beer & other drinks. The labels on the bottles were creative, as well as fun to browse through! I enjoyed a delicious glass of red wine during the show. The place smelled so beautiful, because there was a deliciously scented candle burning! Food: It was LA's Comedy & Wine Night! Food was not available; we were given the option to bring in food. Score! Right down the block was a restaurant I love, as well as the best sandwich I've ever had thus far...which included beets as well! Yum! We ordered & brought to the show!Overall: Loved Oeno Vino! The wine shop upstairs was great & the underground Comedy Show kept us laughing "out loud" nearly nonstop! I'm looking forward to seeing another show! Thanks Oeno Vino for making NYE a fun experience...and we made it back to the beach in time to toast to the new year! Score!

Oeno Vino is a gem of a neighborhood spot, not only for its selection of beers, wines, and sakes, but for its outstanding jazz on Wednesday evenings down below the store. Felt like Europe. Thank you!!!!

Love this place. The staff here has consistently been friendly and helpful with suggestions. The selection is large and has something for us all. Wide price range too. There's a bar and performance space downstairs as well. Great shop!

I've been coming here for years and finally it's time to write a review. This Wine Bar is like traveling to another world, or just New York City where they have basements. The low ceilings and intimate setting makes this perfect for a date night, an alone night or a comedy night, alone or with a date. The wines are a great price point so you can enjoy even more win that your typical wine tasting room. I was in here the other day and there was a perfect playlist of post-punk Synthwave that set the atmosphere perfectly. They have open mics that are free, but I always like to grab a glass to help out the business. The last time someone asked me for a wine tasting I was like, " Great, I love a white privilege safari." This place has a unique blend of mid-evil times and lost of other words, that you'll have to create when you experience this first hand.

This place is such a gem! They carry the best wines! I came here with 15 friends and they were super accommodating to us. We were there for a comedy show that they also put on. The place is a bit small but very cozy. It feels family run and so you have to be patient with them. The day I came, the system was down so it was hard to close the tab but they were sooo sweet and deserve all the love!

Amazing!!! Cozy underground bar is perfect for a casual drink & snack with friends/date. We had the best experience with the wine flight as well. Bartenders were super friendly too.
