“I called and ordered an arrangement for my daughter’s birthday. Spoke with Barbara and she is absolutely amazing!! She’s so helpful and accommodating. She had the arrangement prepared and delivered to my daughter in under two hours of my call. She sent me text message pictures of the flowers, when the delivery person left and when they were delivered. My daughter LOVED her bouquet, so did I. THANK YOU BARBARA for making my daughter’s birthday extra special.”

“I really love this store, and especially this particular location. Every mint plant I’ve purchased here has been incredibly healthy and thriving.
I also want to highlight Elke, the Sales Professional and Owner at Armstrong Garden Centers. She is truly exceptional. English is my second language, but she listened carefully and understood me perfectly. She even found the apple mint I was looking for—and it was in amazing condition.
I completely trust her judgment, and I could tell she genuinely enjoys her work. Because of her kindness and professionalism, I know I will keep coming back to this location many times.

“I was at a large orange hardware store and wanting to purchase sod, though they had a small 12x12 square for 13 bucks!! I called Avalon Nursery, they can pre-order sod, but they have to have a few pre-orders, which is fine. Sod is expensive and doesn't have a lengthy shelf life. Anyhow, She had another customer who was wanting it, she will have it this weekend. This is a family owned and ran business. So why not make my purchase from a family owned business. I will also be picking up a few trees and citronella bushes. If they don't have it, ask, they might be able to get it. Thank you Avalon Nursery.”
“I love this place. Fair prices and the staff will bend over backwards to help you. Last time I brought in a bunch of custom planters and they repotted every plant I picked out into them free of charge. Saved me a days work. Honestly can't reccomend them enough.”

“Overall I come here very often for materials for my projects. Everyone has always been helpful. Parking is a bit of a struggle with a truck due to tight size. Overall everyone is nice. Looking at other reviews that are negative I have never felt mistreated here. Prices are a bit hire for some things like lumber. But you are in middle of the city. To be honest I could drive further to get my lumber or tools but sometimes it is just convenient.”
“What a cool spot to host an event, aesthetic-wise (not sure financially if it's a good price lol)! I was here to attend a wellness event and I was impressed with the size of the spot and the varied options indoors and outdoors for whatever you need to host.
Inside, there was enough room for a stage for speakers, a little backstage area for the speakers to congregate, counter space to serve food and drinks, space to sell merchandise, and an almost enclosed space for a separate session. Outdoors, there was seating for meals and open grassy and first space with tents for any outdoor programming.
The event organizers rented some fancy outdoor temporary restrooms, so I'm unsure if Rolling Greens has restrooms at all or if they had restrooms, but it wasn't sufficient for our large gathering.
I saw there was also parking available inside the gates that you can close, though for the event I attended, the parking spots were not utilized and we had to take the drawn parking spots outside, find street parking (which wasn't too bad), or do valet.”

“Great selection of cactus with great prices. The gals who run it are so sweet. It's my daughter's favorite place to go explore. We found a great variety of plants that still are alive today which is always a win. They also have cute planters but def need to follow them on IG when they get the best ones. Their bead earrings and patches are cute too.”

“I was at my go to nursery today. I was looking for a few flats of Dymondia and a Photinia shrub. I’m very happy to say SAGO Nursery is still a fabulous place to buy plants and get help for all your gardening needs!”
“I always drive by this place and see a ton of really cool huge planters but never actually made it in, up until recently. I was in need of repotting my birds of paradise and needed a big planter so I walked in I was greeted by the gentleman that works there I believe he was the owner. Immediately greeted me asked if I needed help but I was kind of just poking around and wanted to explore so I looked around at first. Then when I wanted pricing he was super helpful I ended up buying three pots he explained to me that one pot that I had was actually created by hand and the little indents were actually made by thumbprints. I loved that he explained that, since I did like that pattern I thought it was a cool story once I got my pots I went inside his little office with a bunch of pots inside to pay with my card and to my surprise I saw on the corner of his desk a mini monstera! Love an unexpected surprise the rhaphidophora tetrasperma I had been looking for for literally the past 2 months from all the nurseries close to West Hollywood even a trip to the Flower District in Downtown LA I could not find this plant everyone kept telling me to come back around May because they would have some then that they hadn't seen them in years blah blah blah so I asked the gentleman if he had more of these and of course he walked me over to the greenhouse and I found a beautiful baby to take home FINALLY! So so happy with the selection and the pricing is absolutely phenomenal if you're looking for something that has a little bit of character I highly recommend going here for Planters the selection of plants was incredible 10/10”

“We had a really great experience at this nursery. We were looking for a memorial tree that could spend a few years inside and then be planted outside. We received fantastic support with careful considerations regarding the pros and cons of each available tree. We're really happy with our choice. Also very happy that they have a pet safe plant section. We will be back!”
“This was my first time coming to this Home Depot location. My mom sent me to run some errands for her and get some gas tanks to light the heaters we have in outside. My plan was to be in and out and that is exactly what happened thanks to Deniz. That woman needs a promotion because she is such a kind sole as well as helpful. She helped me trade out the old gas tanks and find the exact new ones. Thanks to Deniz for such great customer service and exact guidance to the product. “What a gem of a plant store! I popped into La Cienega Nursery the other day and walked out feeling inspired—so many amazing picks. The selection of succulents, cacti, orchids, and exotic greenery is seriously deep and well-maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly, asking what my space looked like and offering suggestions rather than just pushing whatever they had. The shop has a relaxing, almost jungle-like vibe, which makes it fun to browse even if you’re just killing time.
I also appreciated how clean and organized everything was: plants grouped by types, clear pricing, and the staff willing to answer questions about care and placement. My only little nit-pick is parking can get tricky during busy times, but the location is worth it. If you're hunting for something unique or just want to treat your space to something green, this place is a solid find.”
