I recently purchased a 2025 MINI Countryman from this dealer, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. I deeply regret this purchase and would caution others against buying any 2025 MINI; As this is the first year of the new generation, the vehicle has been plagued with persistent issues. The most significant problems involve the infotainment system, which frequently experiences screen blackouts, navigation audio failures, and various glitches. When I sought assistance, the dealership offered no real solution to my problems and I couldn’t get hold of the manager. These ongoing issues have left me feeling unsupported and frustrated.
Another significant concern arose when I discovered that MINI had switched from run-flat tires to standard tires without providing a spare. During the purchase, I was only informed that the car lacked a spare tire, which I assumed meant it used run-flats as MINI had traditionally done for safety reasons. However, it turned out that they had switched to normal tires without communicating this change or even providing a spare tire. This lack of transparency is disappointing.

I bought my car here in 2020. Not only was the buying experience with Colin Cocores excellent, but the service department staff has also been incredible. Ira is so efficient and has the greatest customer service. Miguel and Jezabel are also wonderful. If you’re looking for the best, you have to come to downtown MINI. You won’t regret it!!!

I recently purchased a BMW and worked with Irak Garcia who was highly knowledgeable and easy to work with! I highly recommend him due to the stellar customer service. Prior to going to Mini/BMW, I had a very unpleasant experience at the Beverly Hills Audi and was very hesitant to continue the car buying process, but Irak helped change that around. You can quickly see that he is a genuine individual with great energy! I would purchase another vehicle with Irak without a doubt!

I bought 2 cars from Mini Downtown L.A. Pretty good. Sales not bad. However, after getting oil change and finally light turned off, 2 sec. upon leaving, another lite (for general service) went on! The car is a 2020 had 7,000 miles when purchased. The check isn't actually due for another 4 mos. Do yourself a favor. Unless it is under warranty and therefore FREE, do not go to the dealer. Everything you need to know is in the car manual or youtube and it literally takes seconds, not minutes, seconds, to find a video on how to turn off any service light that appears, until it's actually due. Lastly, if you do buy a mini remember to get your oil changed regularly, these little beasts (just like the motorcycles) eat oil and burn it faster. If you stay on top of it, you will have few issues and it will save you unnecessary maintenance over time.
So, in closing, those annoying service lights when you are still at least 4 to 5 months out from any service even being due: Youtube baby. ?

I would recommend buying from him 100%.

Leasing a two- door 2023 mini cooper. Under 10,000 miles and already front brake pads need replacing. Called Mini Cooper for servicing and was assured the replacement was covered by the lease after looking my account up by VIN. Dropped off car this morning and the salesman immediately told me I owe $450 for replacing the front brake pads. Why do the brake pads need replacing so soon and with very little wear? Why do I have to pay for them? They knew I was missing work to come in. Why didn’t they let me know I had to pay $450 over the phone? No apologies just a blank stare. Called my local auto repair and he said if brake pads truly need replacing he will do it for $220 but to check my warranty and pursue other avenues before replacing them. Reporting to corporate and submitting a Better Business Bureau complaint. Any other suggestions?
Do not lease, buy, or service through DTLA Mini - awful rates and no accountability or proper communication.

Stay away from this place. service department worlers are clueless and they will lie to your face about your repairs. We took our car their 5 times and they did nothing to fix it. We will be reporting them to the better business beuro. We have all the evidence to back it up. When we reported this to management. She brushed it off like they did nothing. We were not surprised.

The team at Mini DTLA went above and beyond throughout the buying process. Specifically, Collin C, ensured I was able to get the car I wanted. I had spoken to other LA-area Mini dealerships and DTLA stood out almost immediately with quick and honest responses. In terms of pricing and negotiating, DTLA kept it simple and straightforward. Collin's automotive knowledge stood out, and he provided answers to all of my detailed questions on the spot. I would work with them again.
