I came into Motley today just perusing and found a neat Bang & Olufsen boombox in good condition. Imagine my surprise when I was told that the "sale" price was $800 down from $1200. This was determined by the longer hair man Im assuming is a Manager. This priced seemed outrageous and sure enough a quick search showed the average price on same item in good condition is $200. I'm not sure if the Man @ Motley thought I was a visiting Hipster that would pay any outrageous price or if he really did not want me to buy - Either way, I will never visit Motley again. And I suggest you think twice about it as well.

Extremely cool stuff! Prices are very steep though. But, the things you will find are very unique... Almost one of a kind type furniture. Beautiful!

I moved to the area not long ago and have passed by this place nearly a hundred times. I've thought to myself they always look closed because the door to the front entrance is always closed. I've walked by so many times because of this. Best way to enter is through the side door. Today however their front door was OPEN so I had to finally take a peak. It's like stepping back in time furniture store edition. I had the whole store to basically myself to browse. Though somethings are in a bit of a state of disrepair for the most part there are some really cool items. Most of which were wayyyy out of my price range. However I found a really great book for my coffee table and plenty of inspiration in this place. My only wish is that the prices were more reasonable for second hand furniture - but nonetheless a cool spot. I'll definitely be back for the clothes as they had some great threads. They post roughly 60 % of their items on their website as well, but their Instagram presence is a bit quiet. Really intrigued by this place and I'll come by to check out their furniture now that I know what kind of selections they have.
