Bid low, bill high. Explained to the technician the problem and situation with the starter and changing the starter, after about an hour he repeated the problem and said the cost would be nearly 3X the estimate. So a bill for nothing and fixed by the dealership for the same amount as the original quote.

I was looking for a mechanic that can fix my car window. My window stop rolling up and down. So I search for a mechanic and this website came up. I called the number and Chevy is the name of the person who I spoke with. Made an appointment for today at 4pm and he was at my place on time. What I liked about this is that the mechanic comes to you its a $90 dollar to diagnose the problem and if and gives you a prices of how much it's gonna cost and if you choose to go with him he applies the $90 dollars to the full price. I asked him to look at my other vehicle and he fixed everything on it and changed my battery. Chevy is super nice and he enjoys working on cars. He was fixing my cars while I made dinner love that instead of waiting in a lobby or having to get a rental or a ride home to have someone work on my car. 1.5 hours of labor done at home.

Be forewarned this business operates under several names and appears to change their name to avoid the negative reviews. Has a mailing address of "1650 W Targee St., Boise ID" which is only a PO Box, and uses stock images for 'Ingrid' who will be the contact for the stock text messages they send. You can see the entire text conversation we had in the photos I've submitted so that you can see evidence to back what I've said and also that what actually occured this fraudulent business differences significantly from what they will claim in their response. Horrible customer service only through texting and their technician never arrived nor contacted me directly despite several requests from me for the technician to contact me so that I could coordinate linking up with them at a large truck-stop. I sent in a Google Maps pin drop to my exact location. Once I was notified their technician had arrived I tried to establish contact with them through their text dialogue and only received automated messages in return and a video of their technician driving around the wrong truck-stop. I notified them their technician was at the wrong location and heard nothing back from 'Ingrid' their automated manager. Please see my attached photos of the entire conversation as proof of their lack of response and refusal to refund my money. Additionally I was advised to choose 'diagnostic' when I asked for a power steering line repair, and then after I paid was told they would only perform a diagnostic and something about conforming to state laws. This is entirely unacceptable as no state law prohibits them from repairing a power steering line as originally requested. Use this business at your own risk and do not trust what they say in their response. They were NOT at the correct location and never attempted to contact me to link-up. Trust the other negative reviews. $238.50 for a 'diagnostic' that they never performed and still charged me for. I used another mobile mechanic, Richard Wilson, with Elite Mobile Auto Repair who actually arrived and repaired my power steering line for $154 and even drove himself to three different auto parts stores to locate the correct parts. This is good service, not what 'Mobile Tech Auto Repair' does with stealing money for nothing. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and applicable licensing authorities and they received no response from the owners as this is a shell business set up under several different names and addresses. No business should be able to outright steal money for services willfully not performed.

I have dealt with these individuals twice in person and more via text. I would highly suggest you go elsewhere for your Auto service needs. This is what I dealt with: - My AC went out in my RV and I looked up some companies on Google, these people had a decent rating and were easy to get ahold of. I booked an AC diagnostic service and asked them to contact my warranty people directly (which is fairly standard). First contacted them on August 4th and it was not until August 14th I booked an appointment, they did message a few times (typically after I contacted them) saying they had not heard back from my warranty people. So, why not, I will go ahead and book the $160 service to tell me what I already knew (and had told them) - a fuse was blown to the AC. Where? No idea but it was blown. They told me a more intensive diagnostic would need to be done and would contact my warranty place. - Wait until August 23, finally reached out and according to them they hadn't heard. Well, it is hot here in summer. So I booked the service eventually after hearing no updates from them on September 8. They come out on September 12 to do a more extensive diagnostic test. I am told I need a new AC unit, which is expensive. - I call my warranty place (who is nationally known and has a higher review score in general), tell them I am frustrated that these Mobile Tech people have been calling them and they aren't returning the calls. I stood up for Mobile Tech as I believed them! I was then informed, they had only called ONCE in early August, they never called for the second diagnostic at all. That if they called today the wait time was 20 seconds and they would be connected directly. I share the information about claims with Mobile Tech - what number to call and times, etc on September 14. Then I wait. - I do not hear anything from Mobile Tech, so I call my warranty place today, September 16, and ask them - did they ever call and make a claim? No. So, I would think this means I should find someone else because while I do not know who to believe, I feel like I am getting a run around. - I go to submit my reimbursement information from Mobile Tech to my warranty place and I am told I need the document that shows the actual work done, the price, and has my signature. Well I have that document from the first diagnostic (yellow carbon copy form), but not my second. I signed the second one and never got a copy, instead I walked out so that I wouldn't bother the technician. The technician did not leave my yellow copy behind. So, I contact the company, asking for them to send a photo or a scan of this document - they refuse to do so. According to them it is standard procedure to leave the yellow copy, I am sure it is but in this instance it did not happen. People make mistakes, that is understandable, but to refuse to send me over a document I signed for work is ridiculous. Moral of the review? Find someone more professional and is willing to work with you, communicative and honest throughout this entire, expensive process. Update as of 3pm on 9/16 - the customer service lady, who is fairly quick in her responses to messages, is now harassing me via text message. Telling me my review was not honest/fraudulent, calling the warranty place liars (but the information with details given by them makes this difficult to believe), and more. They even sent me a text message with my address on it, making me wonder why on that one. Even if you do not agree with my review, which was completely honest, detailed, and had both positive and negative aspects listed - that is highly unprofessional to harass me via text message.

The gentlemen who work here are very professional and polite. When you pull up and see the cars that are being worked on, the work speaks for it self. These men pride themselves on taking their time and doing quality work. One of them told me "We'd rather take our time and give quality work than give rush jobs with cheap equipment". That says alot.

Same issue with my Lexus IS250, nav screen didn't work. Brought it in and Elio fixed it for Way less than any other place would have not to mention the dealer.
