Hm... Looks good when served, but the meat quality is not that great. Not well seasoned either. For the chorizo, they took out a chorizo sausage on the spot and used their hands to just rip it up onto the taco. They load up your tacos at the end with onions, I would recommend telling them not to do this, its just too much onion. But its generous. To conclude, there are two great things about this place - 1 - the price is reasonable. 2 - when you order a carne asada taco, you get a carne asada taco. Very important.

I needed to put together a bbq for 10 people with less than an hour to prepare. I used Yelp to find the closest carniceria. Metro was the closest. I got everything I needed. Carne, salsa, onions, radishes, charcoal, beer etc. My bbq was a success!! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Metro is a great 1 stop market. I will be back soon.

So lucky to have lived 2 blocks from this place for 8 years. They have the best meats for the best price. Their ground beef is the best I ever had!!! Their chicken 1/4s and pork chops are superb. Best of all is their marinated, pork taco meat. If you don't want to cook they will Thursday - Sunday after 4pm. The refried beans they put on your burrito are perfectly made. I asked for recipes but they were like "No way. Family secret!" I get it though.Also, they always have cold beer for you when you get off work. Best to these guys.

We were on our way to Tierra Mia and found this tiny carniceria by accident. We had to stop when we saw a guy grilling fresh meat outside the market. We got carne asada taco and carnitas taco for our appetizer before lunch at ChaCha Chili. The taco was pretty good and super cheap. I don't remember exactly how much, maybe $2.00 each? The guys were very friendly and helpful. 4 stars!! I am a fan!! Metro Meat Market is yummylicious!!

I could not live without these wonderful people running a great corner store! They've been so cool during the pandemic and always abiding by mask guidelines unlike a lot of the corner stores/tiendas/bodegas/liquor stores/small markets en El Sereno and City Terrace. The guys that run this place are super cool and they have the best food. I wish they carried soy milk or almond milk so I could walk over and grab it when I randomly run out at the house, but now that Tierra Mia is there, I can just get it there in a pinch even tho it's pricey. love Metro!!!!
