I had a fantastic experience with Melrose Auto Body and the owner operator Jay, who is an honest mechanic, something that is uncommon these days. He not only fixed the issue with my car quickly, but was also incredibly transparent throughout the process, showing me the parts changed and explaining that not all the parts needed to be changed. It's not easy to find a mechanic you can trust, but Jay has certainly earned my confidence. I highly recommend their services for anyone in need of auto repairs!

I called because I thought I had a bad alternator. He was able to give me a quote on the spot. I took my car in, he took a look, and turns out the problem was my starting motor (took about 15-20 mins). I love that he was transparent with the cost and his thought process on what the issue was. My car is still at the shop, but I'll update once I get it back. But so far, it's been a great experience, especially as a car-illiterate girly!

When I tell you this is the only repair shop I trust in LA! The owner is honest and kind which is truly rare. I'm a woman and I've had the worst experiences when it comes to auto repair, but I finally found a place where I know I won't be taken advantage of. Highly recommend. I suggest you make an appointment because the owner of the shop is by himself.
