“Louie had amazing customer service. He helped me with an online order I placed over a month ago. As well as printed out my order & explained how my order was ready the day I picked for pick up. He also stayed on the phone with me until I found the place. Amazing customer service thank you again for going out your way to help me.”
“Let's make our local economy stronger by buying at our local markets, stores, and outlets. At Meatland Market, you will find an extensive selection of Latino ingredients to make delicious recipes/ dishes. La carniceria offers a wide selection of different meat, poultry, and fish. Here, you will find the best CECINA,fresh fruits, and vegetables....and the list goes on....”
“I think this is a pretty cool place when you can grab some asada and buy a cold one at the same time plus the have bread. It's located on the corner of 54th street and Van Ness with handy parking. I've been going here for years since I was a child actually.”
“If you like fresh produce and meat you have to check out Luis's. I'm a professional chef and I use all their meats. Beef (oxtails) pork, chicken fish etc. it's always fresh and fair in price. Margarit is so sweet and kind. I call to check inventory and she always let me know what's in. All the men in the meat department are super nice and they cut the meat anyways ( only if it's safe) lol don't go asking for too thin pieces lol. Thank you”

4817 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles“This store has always saved my ass for any last minute kosher needs. Yes I needed to buy already made matzo balls for a special dinner (not as easy as you think they are to make!) They sell them. Last time I needed corned beef and they sold it with the packet of spices (yay) for my instapot. Grape juice of course! They have everything and I need to remember that next time for shabbat candles and random stuff.”
“I needed to put together a bbq for 10 people with less than an hour to prepare. I used Yelp to find the closest carniceria. Metro was the closest. I got everything I needed. Carne, salsa, onions, radishes, charcoal, beer etc. My bbq was a success!! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Metro is a great 1 stop market. I will be back soon.”
“I just took delivery of a bag of Original flavor jerky. I took one bite and almost cried. THIS is the jerky of my childhood. THIS is what jerky is supposed to be. Been looking for it for 50 years and I finally found it. Awesome stuff.”
“I grew up eating Carne from this place. All I got to say is absolutely good quality meat at a good price. No fat like other meat just straight meat. Bomb always fresh. Gracias Don Chuy I know this man since I was 15 yrs old”
“I visit from the New York area and this is by far THE BEST butcher shop anywhere! Unbelievable selection of fine meats and specialties. Helpful professional staff and by far the best beef jerky you can get. Wish I lived here so I could go here for my meats but it is a MUST DO every time I visit the area.”
“Great quality meats with one of the friendliest lady behind the counter! Store itself is small, but has enough variety and cuts to satisfy most kbbq cravings. They also sell rice paper, radish wrap slices, lettuce, perilla leaves, ssam sauce, sambal sauce, and chadol (aka brisket) sauce. You can also call ahead to place an order, and their hours are 10-7pm per the photo lol”

“This is one of the truly great kosher shops in The West. Yisrael and his staff have an appreciation of their craft and their customers and serve finest quality product with an expertise unmatched in ordinary markets of any description. Just be courteous and patient while they serve the person before you - especially as the Sabbath or Holidays approach!”
“I can't stress how.much I love the store. The man at the meat section always greets me with a Holla, and a smile. He recognizes how much I love the ingredient that is used to prepare the meat , that I'm a regular now. This is my to go spot when I BBQ with Family , or friends:.”
8AM - 9PM
10925 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles“I googled this very-close-to-my-house space in search of pigs feet and oxtails to take to family, per their request. There was a slight line because it was just before Christmas, but once waited on, the butcher was helpful. The butcher shared that he cut the oxtails fresh daily. Mommy confirmed that the quality of what I brought her was top-notch, with no additional paring down of the oxtail fat being necessary, since they had been perfectly cut and trimmed.I was also asked by the butcher exactly how I wanted the pigs feet cut. Top shelf service, top shelf product.”
“Been here multiple times and the chicken is the best. You definitely have to come prepare to wait in line. The place is very clean and they only allow one person per line at a time.”
“Meat is good and nicely cut. No excess fat left. Always stocked up. Nice store if you forget your veggie, sauce, rice or bread from the market. Clean and organized. Plus they sell beer only no bottles.”
“This Tuesday evening farmers market is amazing! I didn’t know it was here until I had a chance to drop by the Flower shop around the corners. Awesome rose yogurt Yogurt and The Customized Thai Tea that the sweetness can be adjusted and non dairy option?”
“Super nice staff!!!! Unloaded very fast. They help guide you backing in because it’s very very tight area. It’s not ideal for a full semi plus 53ft trailer, but it was done.”
“I loved their Carne asada and ribs super delicious and weren't chewy like other places. The only bad thing was their chicken milanesa..but other than that they are great...better than la princessita”
“So friendly and helpful, good variety of meat, good price. Bit atypical- discovered this meat market in my search for beef liver. My 12yr old boxer was diagnosed with cancer and getting him to eat became an issue.Quite a few times I rushed in at closing time, and was always greeted with a smile,Although I won't be buying quite as much liver, I will continue to shop here for good quality products”
“I liked it because they already sell what you want fried???????⬛??huu this place is old and it's close to the neighborhood Between 8st and 9 x Vermont near Wilshire and Olympic”
“I love this place the owner makes I feel like family I never had turkey chops before until came here now I don't own a pork chop I still eat pork just not chops”
“Started our Birria catering service and I wouldn't get my meat anywhere else. Friendly employees quick in and out service did I mention the prices are very reasonable. Like I said don't see myself getting my meat for the fire Birria we make anywhere else good quality great prices.”
“Many things in this market is either overpriced or doesn't even have a price tag. Countless things that I wanted to buy but didn't because they didn't show a price and I'm one of those shoppers that does the math when I shop. If I don't know the prices I'm not going to waste time bringing stuff to the register to only find out that the items are overpriced and I don't want them or something. Other than that, the employees are friendly. The place is always clean.”
“Great selection, excellent prices, and the owner is very sweet! Never had an issue with cleanliness either. Also this listing is wrong: they take cards too, not just cash.”
“Fantastic family-owned small business. Their products and hospitality caters to the surrounding community. The market itself has seen a fair share of upgrades which creates a welcoming family environment.”
“Was around the area working on a installation in house and after a good days work a cold one is well deserved and I'm glad I stopped by here for my cold one. Thank you "V" great customer service.”
