When going shopping in LA, Maxfield is always my first stop. My wife and I have been treated like family by Jesse (best salesperson in the city) and the entire staff there. Not only that but their impeccably curated selection never disappoints. 10/10 best shopping experience I’ve ever had time and time again.

Famous boutique in LA! There is a free parking lot in front of the statue. If there is no parking space, you need to leave your key with the parking staff. Just pay a few yuan as a tip when picking up the car.

Pretentious in LA way...have to have a preexisting appointment or left to wait in line like a l**** because entry requires an available sales associate. Once inside, a good array of designer apparel.

In my youth my mother and I shopped at Maxfield Bleu. It was always a fun experience and from a young age I had a fun flair for clothing. Fast forward 50 years. I'm no longer in the area, but visit on occasion and keep up with things that are going on. I have this band from Philly that will be in California three maybe four days in September/October and I wanted them to hit Maxfields while they were here. But after reading the reviews on how customers are treated by the sales staff and managers I'm SO reluctant to recommend they stop in. I would be mortified if they were mistreated on at a place of my recommendation. I've never read so many awful reviews on the same issue over a long period of time. I'm going to think on this one. There are other stores. It's sad to hear though...

High end and very welcoming. I got the perfect gifts for the holiday season. The team were very professional and knowledgeable. I felt very safe with the stores security detail, being used to my own security detail when I travel. I absolutely loved the art and sculptures also. I endorse Maxfield a great part of LA history.

The website doesn't say "appointment only." They rudely make customers stand outside for an indeterminate time until they have a sales escort available.

Store is nice. 2 stars for the awful service. The female sales person with curly hair treat me is totally different from my friend. She broke in the fitting room without asking me at first. And always talk with my friend (maybe because I’m a woman but my friend is a man.) it bothers me a lot. And when I left the store she didn’t remind me to take my shopping bag (she took my shopping bag purchased from other stores and kept in the front desk when I entered the store) I bought a pair of shoes but when I left the store she didn’t told me that I can come back next time without reservations but she told my friend so. It’s really a bad memory.

After spending 10s of thousands here over the years I will not be back. Extremely rude security and staff. I guess this is why online shopping is taking over.
