Got back into fishing after decades of a sabbatical. Martin hooked me up, no pun intended, with quality rods & reels along with gear. Very knowledgeable and considerate about your budget. Doesn’t try to sell you something out of your price range or experience. Needless to say I took to my bait cast reel as if I never stopped fishing. Top it off, Martin knew my buddy whom I located after decades of losing touch and why I’m fishing again. I’ll be going to Martin’s for gear, knowledge & information regarding fishing.

Small place but when ur inside it feels big. A cool couple greets u and answers ur questions. I picked up a CalStar rod for a reasonable price and a set of pliers in a thick leather to wear on ur belt as you fish. They’re informative and I found out they’re out there fishing with us occasionally. Nice place and cool folks.

This was my first time visiting and will definitely return when I’m back in the LA area. I met Martin and his wife and they were both very cool and helpful. They have a lot of great tackle and gear. I highly recommend.

Just came back from there with my nephew. Great service and lot of choice its small but compact you have everything you need plus great promos it deserve that five star. Did appreciate a lot. Thanks for the tshirt ;) We will definitely be back.

They were headed out the door to the airport to pick up worm bait. He had already locked the door when I pulled up. I asked if they were closing and he asked if I need something particular. I told him I needed lug worms. He opened the door and told me to come in. I told him I would like two boxes of lug worms. He opened the boxes and the worms were kicking and in great shape. He even tossed in another box because they were "last weeks" worms. He didn't need to do that but he did. That's just good business and I can tell these are good people. It's a small shop but appeared extremely well stocked. I'll definitely go back when I'm back in Los Angeles. He treated an out of town guy very well! I'd definitely recommend this shop!!!!

I’ve been to this place twice and both times I have been very satisfied with the service and products available. There’s not many fish and tackle places around where I live (DTLA) and I like to fish in LB but for the variety quality and prices combined, a trip to Martin’s is definitely worth it! Very knowledgeable and upstanding gentleman. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕⭐️
