This place is joke. Ruined my bmw and did nothing. You should never have to put a down payment before the work. Scam. Waste of time. Ruined my bmw. It took them a month to do and I got it fixed in a week. Never go here. They will ruin your car. At least don’t go with a luxury car. This place is so cheap they used construction screws instead of real car screws. This place is a complete joke they try to make you look like a fool when you question them. They have no respect. Marina West Autobody/ CMS Motorsport has been doing detail work on my M4 for months now and I can’t say enough positive things. This includes a paint correction and regular wash/hand waxes, which really revived the look of my car. The owners are extremely detailed oriented, knowledgeable, and kind. I genuinely enjoy taking my car here.

Our daughter lives in the Marina del Ray area, we are in NorCal. She was in an accident with extensive body and some
mechanical damage to the front end of the vehicle. We had her car brought over to Marina West. I know a good bit about cars and felt vulnerable that I was not nearby to keep watch over the repair process. My fears were unfounded. Shant and crew made the repairs within the estimate our insurance company gave. There were challenges in getting the parts because of the overall industry issues but they kept me informed and didn’t try to take advantage of the situation. It has been several months since she got the car back and there have been no problems with the repairs. The fit and finish are all good. There were a couple minor adjustment items right at the beginning that the Marina West crew took care of on the spot when our daughter dropped by with the vehicle. She has done the SoCal-NorCal trip in the vehicle a couple times now without a problem. I really appreciate the Marina West team. You can trust them to take care of your daughter’s well being, and I can’t think of a higher recommendation than that.

Very professional, well-run repair shop. Shant knows his trade very well, and both he and his office manager are very pleasant to deal with. The repairs to our 2009 RAV4 fender and front bumper were perfect, look as good as new.

I took my 4Runner here to fix my rear bumper after getting into an accident. At first, from the outside their work looked good. Faint orange peel look on the paint, but acceptable. After a month or so I took it through a car wash and the newly painted bumper peeled in a few spots. I chalked it up to the car wash. Fast forward a few years later I'm doing some work under my car adding an aftermarket bumper, and I see all the things that they said they fixed but clearly didn't. They charged me for all the extra body damage that was under the bumper, but didn't actually take the time to fix it. They only did what they though would be seen by the layperson. I would recommend going somewhere else that is more honest.

Sean is great, I had to get my back bumper fixed. I shopped around at least 5 other places in the area and Sean’s quote was significantly cheaper, to the point where I was hesitant of the quality of work he could deliver. Boy was I wrong, Sean did a phenomenal job fixing my car and was communicative throughout the whole process and even fixed some minor things at a lower cost than his competitors. Not to mention he did it much quicker than his competitors as well, was quoted multiple week time frame at other places and Sean fixed me up in a matter of days. Honest rates, great customer service, and good work. Would highly recommend using Sean and his team.

This place is horrible I got my car repaired here within 2-3 years later the part of car they repaired started peeling and bubbling. I didn't bring it back right away but when I took it back the guy told me I waited too long and the warranty was up and quoted me a ridiculous price to repair the mess they made. Don't go here!

Got a small scratch on the bumper on my 2023 Lucid Air right after getting the car. Shant did an excellent job fixing the bumper. Would not even know that the scratch was there. He was able to get my new car back to new looking. Very responsive and professional.Highly recommend this shop.

Shant restored our bumper to like new condition after we scratched it on the garage door. He is a perfectionist and although it took a couple days longer than anticipated to get it back, he offered to comp his services completely free of charge for the minor delays. We are so glad he takes pride in his work and took the extra time to make sure everything was 100%. Marina West went above and beyond our expectations and earned future repeat business with us. We would highly recommend them to all our friends and neighbors in the Playa Vista area.

Rear bumper was painted. Once I got home I noticed it wasn't shining like the rest of the car, like it needed to be buffed out or something. I returned and showed it to Shant who assured me that's what it needed. What confused me was that he acted like this was normal, that you always have to bring the car back to have it buffed, which I don't believe is true because I've had this done before. And even if this is normal, why wasn't I informed when I picked it up?? I also paid out of pocket for an exterior detail while the car was there. Before I noticed the bumper issue, I see that my door panel has residue on it from the person who moved the car. Even though I didn't get an interior detail, I didn't expect the car to come back looking worse than when I dropped it off. After the bumper was buffed, I took a really good look at the car and noticed swirl marks that I previously hadn't seen. When I spoke to shant via phone, he explained that this was a result of them detailing the car and that I couldn't see these imperfections previously because the car was in such "horrible shape", and now that it was buffed/detailed, you could see things that previously wouldn't have been seen. Let's just say this isn't bs, which I'm gonna go ahead and say it is, how can youmake this assumption without me at least showing you what I'm talking about? He actually lost me as soon as he said it was in such horrible shape, as the first thing he said to me when he saw it was how nice it was. The thing that bothers me most about people like Shant, is they're constantly in self-defense mode, never really addressing your complaint or concern, just trying to make themselves look as knowledgeable as possible. Constantly in "look at how much I know" mode, not being the slight bit genuine. Not once did he ask me ANYTHING. Just constantly telling me things that had nothing to do with my personal experience. Not one apology, not one show of concern. Just typicalLA "I'm the smartest guy in the room". Totally disingenuous and CYA tactics.
