These are the nicest guys ever. My catalytic converter got stolen, they were so helpful and understanding an genuinely cared about me and my car! I also scratched my car when parking and one of the guys surprised me by fixing it up for me with no charge! Definitely trust these people with your car :)

Went in to these guys for the first time. I have a 2017 Prius V which had a new catalytic converter, after being stolen. I had an anti theft cage installed at the same time. All this work was done at another location in Los Angeles,. Since the repairs, my Prius just didn't sound the same and I was getting a little rattling sound(I assume from the anti theft cage). Took it to these guy. They found some previous mistakes from the previous mechanic and fixed it within less than 10 min. A super generous repair fee was offered. My Prius sounds amazing, LIKE NEW, VERY QUIET, YES!!!!!!!!! Great friendly staff, low stress environment. I hightly recommnend this place. Should have just taken my Prius here from the beginning. This company is a family business that has operated since 1929, and John, the grandson is now there. The entire staff are all very friendly, honest and compassionate---and excellent at their work. I made an appointment and got an entire exhaust system repair on my Toyota and they did it while I waited. The price was reasonable and the work was efficient and quick. I highly recommend them to everyone!

These guys have worked on my cars for years. They have always been very straight with me about what is needed and charge fair prices. As an example, I had to take one of my cars back to the dealer for a warranty service and while there for the warranty service, the dealer told me I needed new brake pads, claiming that they had measured them and they 4mm. When I next took the car to Baizer (Major Muffler) I asked them to check the pad thickness. They measured and told me that the pads were 7-8mm and were fine. Probably saved me a few hundred dollars from an unnecessary replacement.They are very busy, they don't have a giant facility or tons of people running around so they don't need to do unnecessary repairs to make their money. They are also very knowledgeable.Services: Brakes

Can not say enough about the great service I received at Major Muffler. Took my car in at 7 AM and it was ready for pick-up by 3 PM! Scott is a friendly and honest guy. My family's vehicles have been serviced by Scott and his family since 1955 until 2021 when my family left California for good. I say that 66 years of good service speaks for itself. Never had a bad repair from them.

Wow, what a great find Major Muffler turned out to be! Someone unsuccessfully attemped to cut off the exhaust pipe of my sister's 2000 Honda CRV in order to steal the catalytic converter. When I called for help, Dolly was helpful as ever. The exhaust pipe was welded in the time it took to walk down the block to enjoy a bite at Cafe 50's: prompt, efficient and affordable.
