Went there the other day with my friend, the female SA was really helpful, whereas there’s a small bald-headed male SA who was kinda rude and was on his phone all the time instead of serving customer. And there aren’t that many pieces of Margiela in the boutique, dunno why, kinda disappointed as a John Galliano fan

Maison Margiela (sans Martin) moved from its longtime sequined space on Little Santa Monica in Beverly Hills on the edge of Century City (that space is now Jil Sander) to Melrose Place. The space is airy and bright, with just one central structure of freeform plaster, rebar, and white paint that really calls back to the old Martin Margiela deconstructivist aesthetic of yore. Today's house, under the direction of John Galliano, is best summed up as Margiela, but not Martin. I'm not going to go into whether it's good or bad; as with Alexander McQueen and Moschino and other such brands whose founders left strong, idiosyncratic marks, it is what it is. For what it is, Maison Margiela on Melrose Place a beautiful store with great staff, and it was a pleasure to wander the space looking at some really well-made, beautiful pieces.

Beautiful store with a wonderful selection of products. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Tom. Will definitely come back next time I’m in LA!

My visit to the Margiela Melrose store was next-level. The staff(Hannah and Amira) were on point, serving up style advice like real fashion insiders. Roaming through the meticulously curated collection of classics + paint splattered gear was dope! I always grab a couple pieces knowing that they will last for years to come. I’m looking forward to returning next time I’m in town.

There is a reason they’re are five employees standing around and zero customers. The employees were not only unprofessional, they were rude and offensive. I cal to order and it would be set aside. When I came in, not only did Hanna call me a liar; she berated me and got in my face. Thankfully I had text to document the facts. When I asked for a manager the staff continued to tell me she was unavailable. The two female staff mocked me and said “if you don’t have money, don’t shop here! “ finances are not the issue here. The store had very hip and fashion forward beautiful pieces. Too bad the ugly attitudes didn’t allow the pieces to shine. Not worth the hassel

Do not waist your time or money with this place. Hanna is Not only the rudest, arrogant employee that has a serious lack of any sort of any idea of the business she is representing. Hanna Just ruined my future business and all other potential clients that could have been because of her unprofessional and incompetent unwarranted behavior. This was a special boutique shop and she made it a shop that will never be thought of again. Unfortunate. Hanna is the worst representative of the business that is built by relationships and customer loyalty and she single handily ruined that. Unbelievable.

I ended up here because the Beverly Hills location closed. I wanted to see the famous "tabi" shoes in person. A tip from the sales person: just have them order an item from the website since returns are easier at the store.

Super disappointed ! I wanted to go on Easter so made sure to call the day before to confirm they would be open. Spoke to a representative who confirmed they’d be open, but after driving across town they were closed. Waste of time
