I love staying here on my visits to LA, it's next to the best bars in LA too - The Roost, Bigfoot Lodge, Tam O'Shanter! Retro motel but it's all you need, fantastic Aircon too. And parking (first come, first served).

Dog friendly! Which was nice. But when we came back from a Dodger game, we found that they had actually come in our room and turned the t.v. off. Or shut the power off. We had left the TV on for our dog .. maybe they got mad ??

A run down hotel. I was told someone damaged the air conditioner in the room and I must plug it into the socket to use and unplug it when finished. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the water would grow cool when people in other rooms showered. The person I spoke to on the phone at the time I made the reservation was attentive and polite but that night, the elderly man at the front desk was curt and rude. The bathroom needed curtains.

This motel has about 8 units and sits right on the corner of Los Feliz Blvd. Rooms are fairly large. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom OK, had no towels in my room when I arrived. There is constant traffic noise, cars, sirens, motorcycles, and to add to it, a train goes by regularly. No elevator so if on 2nd floor you have to drag your luggage up the steps. Has a refrigerator and microwave. No hair dryers. Stains on carpet. Non responsive management. Don’t answer phone when you call during the day and don’t check voice mail. I received a call 2 days after I left from a voice-mail I had left. Loud music one night until 3:15 AM in the morning. No one to report it to because manager arrives at 11:30 AM and departs around 10:30 PM. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

It had bed bugs, ants, no hot water in the shower, towel was too small, wifi didn't work, and there was a constant loud toilet gurgling. Carpets and furniture and drapes all had stains. Terrible establishment, do not stay here.

Nice, quiet, clean close to conveniences. Very lit. Felt pretty safe. Good a/c and tv reception. No wi fi that we found. Oh well.
