They are probably the best Vet Clinic I have ever been to. Dr. Robins was great and attentive to my little Ellie (cat). She truly cared about her well-being and focused on getting her better instead of adding unnecessary services.
When you first walk in, you feel welcomed and everyone seems so happy to work there. They treat all the animals with respect and care. They have a waiting area inside and outside as well, which I think is great for our nervous furry friends.
The wait time is a little high, but it is so worth it. They are literally focusing on every single animal and making sure they get the best service. So, of course, it will take some time. They do their best to take in as many appointments as possible so there is no walk-in availability.
But if you call on the same day the moment they open, they might just let you in for a same day appointment. It's not a guarantee, though.
They accept care credit, and if eligible, sunbit. I think it is amazing because not many vets have options for payment plans besides care credit.
I think options like these are great for people like me who have more than 1 furry friend.
I really suggest giving them a try. They really won't disappoint. They are super open about their prices, which honestly are not even remotely close to high. And the best part is they don't try to over sell!
Great quality at an affordable price. You just can't beat that!

The front desk staff are rude. I got a txt message saying in capital letters that if I didn't respond early the next day, my appointment will be cancelled. So if you have a busy life and for some reason you miss the call or txt your appointment will be cancelled, which is insane. Once I arrived I was told that they would call me 10-20 after my appointment, but to cancel they're quick. I was standing and waiting to pay and they completely ignored me. They attended new arrivals, and never helped me. I got tired of being ignored and sat down, until it was empty, that's when I asked if they could please charge me. It's unbelievable. The veterinarian was nice and helpful and gentle too. But the blood work fee was $176. I don't remember what I paid before, but it was no $176.

A close friend of mine recommended this vet to me as she owns 3 dogs. I took my dog in for an issue with squinting and her eye being red. Arlen the receptionist was SO helpful and kind. Dr. Cano was great and very transparent. We all know how expensive vet bills can be and I appreciate how the staff here is considerate of that. Parking can be tricky but you can park in a residential and have a nice walk! Exam is $60 btw.

I had to send my Linda Lou to heaven a week ago. As a life long animal lover who has had this unfortunate experience before, I’ve never had such a beautiful sending off. I was in a calming room with a lit candle. They brought my kitty swaddled in a blanket and placed her next to me. I had all the time I needed until I asked to see the Doctor. She, along with the her Assistant were so empathetic and loving to my baby and myself. I’ll never forget the experience and love I felt. I received her ashes today and along with the urn I received this…I’ll never go anywhere else re my let needs. ❤️❤️❤️

LA Veterinary Center has always been wonderful for me and my three cats. I've been taking them here for about 5 years now and it's always been a great experience. Staff is kind and costs are always communicated up front. I'm actually upset I moved farther away and can't justify making the trip here when the kitties need their checkups.
Thank you LA Veterinary Center for all you've done for Dany, Houdini, and Zuzu!
Picture is Zuzu after some dental work when she was ZONKED out.

First time customer on Friday 13th, 9.13.2024, it turned out to be a lucky day for me and Maya! Everyone was super nice, facility is under going some remodel but everything was clean; besides a few obvious repairs going on. The pricing was so much better than what I have been paying! I received a checkup, ear cleaning & meds, her rabies and 2 yearly shots all for less than $250! New long time customer! Ohh forget to mention: Monarch Bakery is literally across the street added bonus! lol

Stay away from this vet, they have a secret 5 day return policy.
I brought my dog in to check on an allergic reaction she was having after a visit to the groomer. The vet did not know what the cause was and offered to run tests to get to the bottom of it. This is a pretty common skin issue for dogs, but the vet was not familiar and offered to run tests.
The vet offered a $60 medicated shampoo, that might be useful just in case. We said we didn’t want it, but the vet and employee both told us that we could bring back the unopened shampoo for a refund if it isn’t needed. 15 days later, we stopped by for the refund and the workers told us that we should have known within 5 days that we weren’t going to use the shampoo and that no refund or exchange is possible. When I said this is wrong and that a refund policy should be posted somewhere.. they lied and said the policy is on the receipt. When I showed them the receipt with no refund/return policy, they just said it was my fault and I should have known. Basically, they don’t care and it’s not their problem.
Customer/buyer beware.

I’ve been taking my pets here for almost 5 years and let me tell you, this is the best Vet in Los Angeles. I’ve had so many cases where they’ve saved my animals’ lives without putting me into crippling debt in the process. Just yesterday they removed a cancerous tumor from my dog, and it all cost just a little over $1k.
To give you an example of how much they care: When my male cat had a urinary blockage (which can be fatal) and I couldn’t afford the $15k+ quotes I was getting from the emergency vets around town, they stepped up. Dr. Robbins answered the phone on her day off and agreed to come in and clear the blockage. Not only that, but they kept him for monitoring for three days. This is just one example, though. I look after four cats and a pitty, and LAVC has saved all their lives more times than I can count.
