Pretty good pickings for a market on the outskirts of DTLA. It's a Korean supermarket with a hot food section, fresh seafood section, sushi stall, Asian bakery, and little restaurant that serves a mix of Japanese and Korean fare. It's no HMart but definitely is up there as far as offerings go. I like how much organic products they have here. I like that I can buy Natto, Thayer's toner, tteokboki, and mochi products from Fugetsu-Do in one place. Personally not a fan of their marinated meats. They have good sales listed every week. I got a 4-pack of Korean canned tuna for 8 bucks so that was nice.

I used to come here pretty often because my school was nearby today I came with my family and they bought citron tea jars the employee bagged it in paper bags but put too many in the bag even though it was double bagged it ripped and one jar broke the manager then came and kept telling us we should've used the plastic bag even though we weren't the ones who bagged them they replaced the item but I found it rude how she kept telling us next time to not to use the paper bag

I really really like this market place. I think they have a pretty decent selection of Korean goods that I can't find anywhere else and I like that their parking garage is 1 hour free and the market place will validate if you pay more than 30$ on a trip, which I almost always do. One of the main reasons I love coming here is because they have a ready-made Ganjang-Gejang that I absolutely go bananas for. I'd love to eat it at an actual restaurant but, for almost 1 pound of soy marinated crabs at only 9.99 I feel like the price can't be beat and I always get the 2$ steamed white rice and it's a perfect lunch. They also have a wide selection of ready made Korean food, they also have a small poke restaurant inside, a nice sushi selection and a ton of smaller restaurants in the back. I'm never around that spot so, I don't know if they're still there. Also, the kombucha selection is ridiculous. I've gotten so many interesting things. Granted, the supermarket smells fishy from time to time and it can get super crowded, I still love this marketplace and will sometimes choose it over H-Mart or Zion in Koreatown

Really nice grocery with a lot of Japanese imports as well as regular American grocery items. Diaso bags are not allowed in store, which sort of makes sense. They will check your bag for you so you can still shop!

I absolutely love this grocery store!! The organic produce is always fresh and super delicious! I love the fact they have a fishmonger on premises which offers live crabs, lobsters, abalone, clams, oysters to name a few. I believe they steam your crab and/or lobster for free! They have a great selection of Japanese items as well. Within the store, you'll also find a sushi spot, poké stall, bakery, a Japanese kitchen and another which I believe it to be Korean. Anyhow, you can't go wrong with any of those food items within Little Tokyo Market. They validate parking, the service is helpful and the place is kept tidy. I will most definitely continue doing my shopping here...

Love swinging by the poki bowl or sushi spot inside the store. Poki and prepacked sushi is sooo fresh and delicious! Stag is super friendly and helpful

I've been here a few times and they always have good deals and sales on certain items. I saw a 20lb bad of Korean rice for only $10! They also have a big selection of organic vegetables. Every time I go, it hasn't been too busy which is nice!

Great prices, and one of the most vast selections of Asian items and produce in the city. 10-15 types of mushrooms, a massive section reserved for kimchi, every type of seafood you can imagine, fresh noodles and tofu, every type of sushi rice and grain you could need, I always come out impressed.

Excellent supermarket focusing on Korean groceries. Located in the Little Tokyo Marketplace, this mall also has many other local small shops with some Japanese focus. With an excellent fish counter, there are both live and frozen catches along with a very large selection of daily prepared Sushi items. The hot food counter is mostly Korean food oriented and the pre-packaged selection is convenient and will sell out quickly daily. There is also a very small food court with 4 vendors serving everything from noodles to curries, to baked goods. There is convenient parking in the very large structure which the market will validate. For many folks who are familiar with this shopping mall, it was once Yohan Plaza when it was first constructed in the 80s. The pricing for most grocery items is slightly on the high side, but produce and fish are quite fresh and there is also KBBQ items to purchase for home cooking. The store is well organized and the clerks are very friendly.

Decent grocery spot in the area. I feel the stuff here are a little cheaper than Nijaya and Marukai. The store is pretty big. Lots of options. They have a hot food section too that they discount after 8PM. So if you're into that stuff and need a later night dinner, check it out. They have security guard guarding the entrances. Usually my go to grocery spot when I need something quick or too lazy to drive out.

I love how there was a massive selection of snacks and fresh goods for an affordable price! Was able to grab a whole basket filled with stuff for only $30. Wish I brought for things, will definitely come back for more.

Amazing market. I recently drove to DTLA in search of some yummy Japanese sweet potatoes and visited 3 highly rated Japanese markets. Little Tokyo MarketPlace was by FARRRRR the best.Excellent selection, convenient parking, perfect prices and friendly customer service!
