I wanted to support a local small business and I found Lenore Solis and associates!!! Lenore's son, Amador, gave me helpful financial advice and him and his mother made sure they maximized my tax return. I'm definitely coming back year after year. They also have other services to take advantage of so I highly recommend this income tax return business when in the Atwater village area!!!

Really disheartened by my experience with Lenore. This is not to knock her character, but more so, the level of communication, professional negligence, and lack of responsiveness and follow-through. Here's the story about my experience (decide for yourself): I filed my taxes with Lenore in March of last year, only to never get my return. I followed up via email multiple times, only to find the taxes were never actually submitted-- and there was minimal accountability that Lenore took for not submitting them. I overlooked that experience and decided to work with Lenore again this year. I went on a Saturday and after getting all the way through the numbers and the end of our session, there was a concern regarding one of my W2's and Lenore said she would follow up on Monday. Monday came and I didn't hear from her so I followed up via text and she said she would circle back. I followed up a couple of hours later-- NOTHING. Throughout the course of the week, I called about 10 times, sent multiple texts, and emailed. Only one of those correspondences was answered and she said she would get back to me-- she did not. So today, I drove by and Lenore (didn't apologize for the lack of correspondence). Rather, she said she sent a text about a mileage discrepancy (I showed her my phone-- that text was never sent). Then, she said the real issue was that there were too many red flags on my taxes... completely disregarded the W2 stuff she said before. Now, the REAL issue she said was that she didn't feel comfortable submitting my taxes.However, that was never communicated when we met nor during the 10 times I called. Why were none of my calls responded to or answered? SO all this time, energy, and effort corresponding and multiple trips to her office and this was the first time hearing this. What would've happened if I didn't drive down today? Would I have ever heard back? I'm sorry, but that is professional negligence, everything from failure to respond to communication and an inability to communicate truthfully.

My regular tax preparer in Atwater whom I had used for years, Brenda Jung, recently passed away from cancer. May she rest in peace. Naturally I had to look for an alternative. One of the businesses in the area was Lenore Solis's, so I called up and made an appointment to see her on a Thursday. It should have been a simple and straight forward tax return file this year. Lenore requested that I send her a supplementary file for a spreadsheet, which I always used to provide Brenda with as well. Lenore asked me when I could get it to her, and I said I would e-mail it to her that evening, and we parted company. As promised, I sent her the e-mail with the attached file that evening, and asked her to confirm that it was what she had requested and if she needed anything else from me. I didn't receive any call or e-mail reply from her, so I followed up the following Monday after the weekend with a phone call and left a message with her receptionist. The next day, I e-mailed her again to tell her I had left a message with the receptionist and to call or e-mail me. Still no reply. The following day I called again and received the voice mail answering service, so I left a message. No reply. Yesterday, which was a Thursday and 1 week from our first appointment, I called again and told her receptionist I'd like to speak with Lenore. Once again she told me she was with a client and busy and couldn't take my call, to which I replied that I would just come and pick up my documents because Lenore was obviously uncommunicative and I no longer trusted her. She'd eaten up a week up my time, and now I had to scramble to find another tax preparer. The receptionist put me on hold, and when she came back, she promised me that Lenore would call me in a few minutes. She never did. Today Friday, I called and demanded that they have my folder ready and that I would pick it up within a half hour. I went into the office and picked up my documents. Lenore never even came out to explain what had happened or why she was unresponsive, never mind an apology. What struck me upon first entering her office when I met her was all of the religious regalia cluttering her room--crucifixes, religious plaques and slogans, etc. It's ironic that someone who pretends to be so devout and such a holy roller is so utterly devoid of integrity, decency, and the most basic etiquette when dealing with clients. BEWARE AND AVOID!!! This woman is not playing with a full deck.

As a small business owner, a mother and caregiver to my own mother, I needed someone I could really trust with my finances. Ms. Solis is the best tax service I have ever been to. Honest, thorough, reliable and I refuse to go anywhere else to do my taxes. I have been going her for many years and will continue to do so!

I HAD LENORE PREPARE MY TAXES AS WELL AS MY WIFE'S TAXES. WE BOTH GOT LETTER FROM THE (IRS) STATING WE OWE MORE MONEY , I TRIED REACHING OUT TO LENORE, AND LENORE REFUSES TO CALL ME BACK, SHE WILL JUST PLAY GAMES TEXTING YOU. WITH A BUNCH OF NONSENCE.LENORE DOES NOT CONCENTRATE WHILE FILING YOUR TAXES, SHE HOLDS ALOT OF CONVERSATION WHILE PREPARING YOUR TAXES WHICH CREATES TYPE O'S. . THEN SHE BLAMES YOU FOR NOT GIVING HER (LENORE) THE RIGHT NUMBERS.I NEVER GAVE LENORE ANY NUMBERS, JUST MY TAX RETURNS FROM MY EMPLOYER. EITHER LENORE IS INCOMPETENT OR SHE IS USING OLD TAX PREPARERS SOFTWARE.NOTE: I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LENORE SOLIS AND I WARN YOU !! NOT TO HAVE YOUR TAXES PREPARED BY HER( LENORE).YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY THE (IRS) FOR ERRORS LENORE CREATED.
