I need the break service. Change front rotors and pads. Gentleman who worked on the vehicle was super efficient and know his work with very reasonable price to chage the parts. One of my vehicle dealer service told me their labor rate is at $300 per hour. With long wait of scheduling and hassle of getting the vehicle in.
This was one of honest local shop that I got my service done. I was lucky to drive in when shop was not busy. In and out of shop in less than 2 hours.

The vehicle was repaired and it didn't happen the first time, he told us to run it and after two months we returned and it was correct ? the smog passed us by.

This review is long overdue. I stopped in yesterday (updated phone number: 213.604.5668) for the first time in many years. Mr. Lee serviced a couple of my cars back in college and in years following. He is a common-sense, creative pro who helped milk miles out of my Jeep Wrangler -- fun and terrible car. He is honest, fast, and really has a heart. He did the work at very reasonable rates, and always weighed the worth of the work being done given my objectives and the overall condition of the car. No frills storefront, but the results are there. Good luck!

You definitely pay for the convenience here. Super quick service, easy to get to, not too busy location. But, I paid $60 for a smog check here, where it would've been $30 around the corner.

I had a flat tire yesterday and this was the first gas station with a mechanic off the freeway. The guy seemed ok, and I needed a tire ASAP! He quoted me a price of 120$ for a new tire. That seemed expensive, but I felt I had no other choice and I didn't want to take the chance of ruining my rim so I went for it. He ordered the tire from Pep Boys right around the corner and to my surprise the delivery guy showed me the invoice where he paid 70$ for the tire!!! That was a 50$ markup!!! I understand business and making a profit, he also charged 20$ labor plus tax. I ended up paying 154$ for 1 tire !!!! I felt he took advantage of me because I am a woman and was in dire need.

I had problem on my BMW e46. It was one of the radiator side hose broken. So he fixed it and charged $700. And also he asked if I want to change the air filter, he charge $100 more. But I already know how much the filter cost. It's under $20. But I said do it. And after fixed them all, I found other problem which is a/c not working.(before fix the hose, a/c was working good.) So I asked why it happens. But he said he doesn't know. And if I want to fix it, I need more money around $1000. So I couldn't do it anymore. Overall, This man charge too much.
