Out visiting my brother for the holiday. Market is well lit, great circulation space for shoppers to navigate, and helpful staff. Great salad bar, and pre prepared dinners for those of us that don't like to cook.

Yet another overpriced hipster store that offers tasteless food that looks niceWhy would anyone go there when one block away there is another store where you can save at least 30%?I don't go to the grocery store to have an "experience." The store is nice and clean. But all I want is cheap tasty food and unfortunately that's not available here.

I've been to this location twice and had very different experiences each time. The first visit was after 10pm for a late night snack run. The store was clean and brightly lit. I found a drink and a snack and checked out quickly and easily. The staff at night were all super friendly and congenial. They made me feel very welcome even though it was close to closing time. On my second visit, I visited the bakery counter, the Mediterranean bowl counter, and the prepared foods area. First, I walked right up to the bakery counter where there were three employees present. One of the employees was right at front of the counter moving pastries around. They must have seen me since I was the only person at the counter and only a couple of feet away, so I waited assuming they were in the middle of a task. The other two employees were working and talking. I waited around awkwardly for about 3-5 minutes until one of the workers in the back told the worker at the counter that I was there, and only then did they acknowledge me. I could have announced my presence somehow, but it was odd to not even be acknowledged by any of the three. Next, I went to get a Mediterranean bowl. At this counter, there were also three employees, but I was acknowledged pretty quickly and one person started making my bowl. In the middle of me choosing the ingredients, an employee from another section walked over and started talking to the Mediterranean bowl folks. The person making my bowl stopped without saying anything and joined in the conversation for a bit as though we weren't in the middle of an interaction. Additionally, all of the hummuses looked dry and crusty, and overall the ingredients didn't look the freshest. Finally, I walked around to get a few prepared food items. While reading the labels on a few items, an employee walked up and started restocking the items right in front of me, again as if I wasn't there. I would have been happy to move if they needed, I'm not sure why they didn't say anything. If any of these three interactions had happened on their own, I wouldn't think too much about it. But the fact that they all happened with different employees in the space of about 15 minutes made me feel sort of unwelcome. If I were to make a suggestion, I feel like there needs to be some training in greeting customers and having some situational awareness (ex., don't stop while a customer is giving their order to talk, and say something if you need to stock RIGHT in front of them)I'll chalk it up to growing pains since the store only opened a few weeks ago, but for now I won't go out of my way to shop here.

It's bizarre that my review was deleted. It wasn't even a terrible review, just critical of them selling some veggies past their prime.Have they improved? Well, I haven't seen any more bad veggies, so that's good! But I've also never repurchased that specific product.Your POS system needs work. When an item is on sale, it doesn't always ring up as a sale item. Please fix that and then feel free to ask your Yelp friends to delete this as well.

A lot of quality food at high prices. If you can pay for it you’ll really love it. Otherwise it’s pretty expensive. They’ve got all kinds of things like for example venison patties. They’ve got a great cheese section and a really cool bakery. My favorite thing here were some cool Los Angeles neighborhood t shirts - Echo Park for one. This night the only thing I got was black cherry Greek yogurt. They have a large parking lot.

This review is in regards to the woman who runs the cooking classes. So last week a friend of mine and I were excited to book a cooking class here as I really enjoy going to this grocery store. By mistake we booked a class for the wrong day and called to ask if we could just use the credits on another class, we weren't asking for a refund just to have the almost 200$ we spent honored on a different day. The woman refused to let us change our class for a different one and offered no solution. Just took our money and ghosted us. Very poor costumer service and just overall really bad experience with her.If you are looking to support a local business and take a class please book somewhere else with people who value you and appreciate your patronage.

This is an awesome grocery store. Honestly, this is what a grocery store should feel like. It's a place you can just go explore for a bit with your best friend and have a blast. Vibes are always immaculate and everyone is nice to you. The food at the hot bar is always delectable, you really gotta try the clam chowder, like for real. The dudes at the checkout are always dope and usually an aspiring actor or dancer, forget his name I think it's Pierce - tall guy - but he's a chiller! He put us on to some fire brisket samples while we were there. BEST THING THOUGH! The stuffed animals of tomato's and avocados and all that are literally the cutest thing in the world. I had to get the tomato. His name is Tillo and he's my best friend now.The organic green salsa they got is some of the best I've had. All the meats are great. They usually got some deals on chicken and what not. Oh and last thing, the sea salt bar soap they have is next level smells. It'll have your whole bathroom smelling great.

I'm still on the fence. When they first opened they were heading shoulders above gelson's. However, we've now had our second bad piece of meat and bad prepared skewers of chicken and vegetables. The incredible quality and value that we saw during their first few weeks of opening are slowly disappearing.I have a feeling my reevaluation might not get score down another star. I don't think they're going to be five star unless they do something pretty spectacular.

Lazy acres is pretty good. It's a new store so it feels real nice to be inside, but they have a lot of security guards, it sometimes makes me feel like I'm in a military compound. They don't have as many vegan options in their prepared food as whole foods, but it usually has something. Great produce but sometimes real pricy.

The store is very clean and very well stocked.Usually hot food bar places is really bland and often dried out, but I had some juicy spicy chicken thighs, and delicious sweet potato curry. On the pricey side, but below par with competitors like Gelson's or Erewhon.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! The staff is wonderful. Yes, it is expensive but cheaper than Erewhon. You get what you pay for: high-quality, fresh food.
