Our family purchased a modern sofa here and Phillip who was our sales manager was so great in helping us out with the quote and the whole process. The delivery service was accurate to when they said they were arriving and on top of all this, we had a GREAT price on an ALREADY MARKED DOWN sofa! Highly recommended and I am keeping Phil's contact for future purchases. He is very direct and professional and that's what you want in any sales manager! 5 STARS FOR SURE!

My wife and I are savvy shoppers, quality and price are extremely competitive in the age of internet and e-commerce. We can see any product in a virtual setting, HOWEVER what it lacks is human interaction, and that's where PHIL comes into the equation, a breath of fresh air. The primary reason we shopped at this location is Phil. He is attentive , knowledgeable, caring and sincere. We are going back for more items only trusting Phil. Thank you sir, you have gained our respect.

Don't waste your time with this place, they sell the same piece of furniture to multiple people, then cancel yuour order 10 days later.

I ordered a sectional sofa on January 9th, with the 2 week expected delivery. It was eventually delivered one month later, on February 9th. Note, that the delivery from LA to SF Bay area - a 6 hour drive, and I was charged $350.00. Five sections of my packaged sofa looked like they spent the long month I waited for them in a pile of dirt. I did suspect that the packaging did not protect the furniture and wanted to remove it immediately but the driver was not instructed to wait. Well... unfortunately I was right : my yellow chaise had black stains ... In addition, legs from the furniture were not delivered. Since February 9th I am going through a very slow e-mail exchange with the claims department, I'd call it "we do not care" department. My request to expedite the delivery of legs for my furniture has been satisfied (no, it is too early to smile ...) , legs were delivered but ... leg caps/protectors and screws attaching legs to furniture were missing and still not delivered even today - March 6th. My other request to replace or refund the stained section of my sofa started with the offer to send me a cleaning kit :) (smart!!) and evolved (as of today) into a "generous" ~ 30% refund offer for the heavily stained piece. The replacement was never even mentioned as an option by the claims department. To make this very sad and long story short: 2 month ago a paid a lot of money for the furniture I still can't use. If you value your time and do not want to waist it on a "ridiculous back and forth" with the lazy or very busy (not a good sign) "LAF claims department" avoid making any furniture purchases requiring delivery at the LAFurniture store!!!!

I liked the furniture. The delivery is so difficult and the people unprofessional. I won't buy from there again solely because of delivery problems.

My review is solely based on customer service. There are certain people who don't belong in customer service and there are some who were meant for the position. This one customer service guy (don't know his name) managed to ruin my day with his rude demeanor and unprofessionalism. Do yourself and others a favor and don't work in customer service!

LA furniture store has some of the best furniture in town. I bought 3 couches, a bed, dining set and art work from Phil. Phil is an amazing person with very good customer relations, he's an asset to the company and must get a raise. I'm very pleased with the quality of all the products I bought and I will definitely be going back to do more business with him. Thanks Phil

I went into the LA store looking for a specific dresser that I saw online. Erasmo greeted me and was very friendly and helpful in being able to help me order the dresser. He was also able to price match the online sale pricing. He helped me check that there dresser was in fact in stock and could be delivered in a few days with white glove delivery which is exactly what we needed. He was also able to show me the delivery schedule for our area and I could choose a delivery date that worked best for us. Highly recommend working with Erasmo vs ordering online because he made everything super easy, answered our questions and provided great customer service.

My wife and I bought a glamourous curved white sofa for our living room. I thought it might be too much for our house but it looks incredible. The price was way less than it would have been at a high-end store. Our sales guy was Phil who made some good suggestions and was very helpful. The delivery was right on time. LA Furniture is the first place I will check out when I upgrade the family room.

I love this location! Ask for Phil Chiem if you go there. He is very nice and helpful! He really looked out and gave me the best advice to the whole prosses to buy my furniture. He was also so quick and efficient. Thank you so much!!! We love our new furniture.

We loved the contemporary designs and quality of the products as well as store manager Phil's outstanding customer service and very kind, responsive attitude. We bought a Pella sectional and now thinking to buy more furniture from this store. Thank you Phil & LA furniture store!

This is the first time I have written a review since the customer service I received far beyond what I would have expected. I came to the store on a Sunday. When I walked inside, there were two people on the front desk, but no words of saying hi or welcome or how can I help you. It's fine. I don't really care about that. After saying what I wanted to buy, Erasmo helped me place the order. He was nice and all at that point. He promised that the two chairs I ordered would arrive the following Friday at this location. Since I live more than 100 miles away, I can only come to pick up on Sundays. I called the Friday before coming for pickup. A lady told me that it arrived and ready for pick up. I came on Sunday to know that my order had not arrived. I was unhappy since I had to drive so far away. I called Erasmo, he said that because there was a showroom in Long Beach, so they were really short staffed. I asked why the other person told me that it was ready. He asked what the person name was, but my bad, I did not get her name. Then he asked "what do you want to do?" I did not want anything else but pick up my order. He said that it would arrive the following Tuesday. I asked that if he could give me a call, I would really appreciate it. Guess what. I never received any calls or texts, but that's fine. I was not able to come that following Sunday anyway. One week later, I figured I should follow up before coming to pick up the order. I called but Erasmo was on lunch, so he was not able to help. He texted me back afterwards saying that the order was ready for pickup but at another warehouse, which only opens M-F when I can't even come. I reminded him again for what we agreed on when I paid for the order. I called him but he was not able to pick up and text me the following "Can't talk. Text me. Call you tomorrow'. What did I expect? He never called the day after. I had to call and text to follow up with him. When he got back to me by text, he said "It was on back order in now..." I was like what, that never came up until now. He kept ignoring my calls and texts. I finally politely requested via text message for a refund if he keeps ignoring me and the job of what he promised can't be carried out. He never got back to me until I called again the next day. And again, he did not pick up. A few moments later, he texted back 'Your request has been done'. But the method for what I paid is not even what the refund request should be. Throughout the whole thing, I never received an apology and was treated like what happened was my fault. Yes, what I ordered was not a big amount, but I am far beyond disappointed for how I was treated. I guess it was really my fault for ordering what I needed from this location. I just hope I can get my money back!

Total bait and switch! They get you in based on their fake adds, and when you get there, they offer you the same furniture with cheap material. Waisted 4 hours of my life on them. Learn from me. Save yourself the misery!Added response 7/31/23I wasn't the one with confusion, if you had bothered to call, you would have known that. My issue is with you and fraud! You advertised a couch with a closeup of your fabric. I called and spoke to your representative. He told me the couch was at your la store and that I could go look at it. I drove an hour to get there. When I asked your employee in the showroom where the couch was, he informed me it was upstairs but the fabric on the couch was not the fabric that was i would be getting for the advertised price. I went upstairs, looked at the couch, and was ready to buy it until I saw the swatch of fabric that was going to be on the couch I would be getting. I then went back to your website. I opened up the add. I scrolled to the close up picture showing the detail of the fabric in the add with the same lower price. It was the same as what was on the couch in your showroom. I showed it to your sales reps that confirmed to me that was a photo of the fabric on the couch in your showroom. I was then informed that I could have the same fabric, but it was going to cost me another $800.00. At this point I waisted 2 hours. Obviously, I wasn't interested in paying extra for your scam. I then called your customer service number. I spoke to a nice kid that seemed to really want to help. He said he would get back to me about your company honoring your add. 2 days later he texted me "after our conversation, my manager updated the price" and sent me a link. On the link, he raised the price of the couch $800.00. At that point I waisted 4 hours of my life.Moral of the story.......Don't ever shop from this company unless you like bait and switch, fraud, poor customer service, being lied to to your face, and wasting 4 hours of your day. I am so disgusted by this company and their un sincere response that I happily took 20 more minutes of my time to hopefully save good people like myself what would be hard to see another way than soul sucking!Show quoted text

We recently moved to LA and we had to buy a few pieces for our new home especially for our living room. So I searched for nearby furniture stores and Google led us to LA Furniture Store.We went on a Saturday and were greeted by their friendly staff (they were great people!). One of the staff accommodated us, answered all our questions and was not the slightest bit pushy. He even catered to my request of moving some furniture out of the way so I could get a better view of the sofa that I was eyeing.Not only is this place packed with awesome stuff at affordable prices but also has great customer service. We will definitely be regulars!

Overall, my experience at la furniture store was fantastic. Their wide range of modern furniture amazed me, and their prices were incredibly reasonable compared to other stores in los angeles area. The customer service I received was top-notch - the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect dining table and sofa. The quality of their products exceeded my expectations, and the selection they offered was impressive. The delivery service was also on schedule and hassle-free.
