Just visited Ron today to check on my car! My engine light was on! He was so helpful and friendly! Gave me peace of mind after being worried about my car for two days! I will recommend this place and would be back here for other services!

What really sucks about them is they will charge $75 and up for an inspection before saying what is wrong with your car before fixing . Thats crazy as heck and it doesnt make sense to me. Probably they might soon charge for booking appointments. I dont recommend this place

Love this place! Great location, amazing staff, and even better service. I spoke with Ron and Peter about tire issues and they were on it! I was out in such a short amount of time. I will only be coming here in the future and recommend them to family and friends.Service: Tires

Love a consistently great business!

I had an AWFUL experience here. first, it was run down looking not clean at all and a lot of the food was expired and molding. I waited 30 minutes for someone to come up and help me because my car was out of gas and I couldn't drive to another gas station. I went to pay with cash and the lady there I think her name is crystal (?) started yelling at me (I mean, like bloody murder SCREAMING) for letting my gas tank run out. first of all, that is none of her business. the monitor on my dash isn't working, but it also could have been a financial issue and it's not okay for her to yell at a customer for running out of gas. that's insane! and then she refused to let me buy gas!!!!?!!!!? so I had to walk to another gas station, fill up a tank, and walk it back over. I never yelled back but I was visibly upset and confused as to why she was refusing service which of course is the business' right to do but still? I'd like some explanation! she kept yelling that my upset face was making her angrier and that I shouldn't be mean to people with bipolar disorder? but I wasn't mean at all I just wanted to know why I was being refused service I will not go here again until she's gone. to know that a place of business keeps her working here does not make me want to to take my business there. she needs some serious help honestly.. she shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role until she starts seeing someone.... while I was waiting in the beginning, I noticed the workers in the shop who seemed very nice. no hate to the business itself, but please check on your workers because they are a reflection of your entire business...

This is the local gas station that I go to on a regular bases when I'm not near Costco lol! They are usually the cheapest in my area and only about 15 to 20 cents higher than Costco anyway. I probably shouldn't of written this review cuz now it'll probably be more crowded but I had to show them love smh.

A skilled, honest, affordable mechanic is worth their weight in gold. After getting the runaround from several other mechanic shops in the city, I finally found La Brea Gas. Ron is super personable, takes the time to explain what's going wrong with your car, and what you can do to take care of the problem within your budget. Whenever I've gotten work done on my car at La Brea Gas the final price always falls within the initial price estimate for the work. This last point seems like it should be a given, but this is not always the case with other shops. I cannot recommend Ron and his team enough. I'm a customer for life.

Theres not much to say about a gas station but i will point out the great benefits about this location. First they are very affordable usually cheaper than any other gas station around. Second the staff inside is great and always helps with any issues. Other than that the place is clean and overall just a good gas station. I've been having Ron service my vehicle for a couple years now and he has been nothing short of amazing every time I visit. As a person who has always had a profound distrust for auto mechanics, I've been truly pleased with Ron and his team for always providing quality services, fair prices, and most importantly: integrity. Ron has done it all for me- from small services like tire pressure checks and oil changes, to larger services like brake replacement and engine mount replacement. He does quality work and I can't recommend him enough!

Stopped by La Brea Gas Auto prior to selling my car to get a diagnostic test and wow what a wonderful surprise to meet a business owner who really cares. Ron greeted me warmly, assessed my needs skillfully and charged me a fair price to do the work. It is so nice to have a true professional in our community who is trustworthy
