Ordered an item online. 3.5 weeks about 25 calls later with interminable hold time and still no prospect of order being completed (reasons offered include shipping label won’t print, lost, damaged, reordered, arrived, lost…). Very nice staff in the rare instances you can get someone on the phone, but they are simply too busy or disorganized to deliver.

First time waited 8 hrs to just check my latch and had to make an appointment to get it replaced . Appointment at 7:30am. And almost 1pm and nothing. Worse kia service.

Today 4/11/2024 I finally have my car back (stored in the garage for a few years) and I need some service, the chat option is the worst, my question of " I want service" never got a response, I waited for about 5 minutes, then I called 888 number for service department and no answer for about 16 minutes... Hanged up, and called the 213 number, same, for about 8 minutes, with just this, I will be taking my car to another Kia dealer. If it were a -star, I will select it.I am glad that I have read many of this reviews.... I will call another dealer to take my car.

I agree with most of the reviews- this place, sadly, is poorly managed. It has no customer service. It only took once for me to stop coming. Avoid this place like the plague.

I've been coming here for years and have held off on writing a review because I think a part of me hopes this place would be better. It hasn't.Below is a list of some of the things I have experienced over the years coming here:* A few years ago, I was given the paperwork for the wrong vehicle and paid for it. I believed I was equally at fault with the advisor, but the manager tells me he'd give me free service next time. I show up a few months later for my oil change and the same manager wants to renege on his word.* A different time I showed up to get my oil changed around 9-10AM. Usually they're done within 2 hours so I planned to meet a friend for lunch at 1. I did not make it to lunch as I did not receive my car until 3PM. I'm also sure I caught a cold from the advisor who was sick and coughing/sneezing at their desk.* I showed up for a 7:20AM appointment and did not get to leave until 8AM. No I was not late, I live 10 minutes away and was actually early.* I took my car in sometime last year to get the A/C looked at because it was blowing hot air. I don't recall being particularly happy with the experience, but my A/C was fixed so I didn't mind. Guess who's car is blowing warm air less than a year later?I think my tipping point was this past week: I was going to go back in this past week due to a recall and figured I would ask to have them look at the A/C again. They don't do diagnostics on weekends, only weekdays. The night before something just clicked: I need an early morning appointment which will probably eat a bigger chunk of time than it should. And I'll have to give more money to fix an issue that shouldn't be happening less than a year later.TL;DR: Go anywhere else, you'd be hard pressed to find somewhere worse.

INCOMPETENT service center at KIA DTLA. There's a reason overall reviews are 2 stars, which significantly exceeds what they deserve.Wasted 2 days of my time and the Service Center did absolutely nothing on BOTH days to address the issue.Booked an appointment for Tueday morning with a VERY detailed description that the 12V battery of my PHEV could not hold a charge above 40% and showed a bad state of health when performing a battery test at home. Received a condescending call from Mike Avenecian (advisor) telling me that the reason my battery was not functioning was because I was using a faulty EV charger, and it was my fault. - My EV battery was never the issue, nor did I have issues charging. I did not need my EV battery charged, as i charge it at home with no issues. Had ANY of their staff read the reason I was taking my car in, they would have seen that the issue was the 12V battery (why a service center doesn't know the difference between EV battery and 12v battery is beyond me). I had even texted the technicians throughout the day to emphasize (again) that my 12V battery was the concern. When I came to pick up my car before closing, I waited nearly half an hour just to speak to Eric Espinoza (manager), who revealed that the 12V battery was NEVER checked the entire time my car was on their lot. Upon calling a technician to grab a battery tester, it was even more apparent that none of them knew what they were doing, and the 12V battery had not been tested the entire time my car was in their possession. None of them even knew where the 12V battery was located on my car, and I had to speak up to direct them to it.Eric instructed me to schedule another appointment (after wasting an entire day of my time) and guaranteed they would have my issue fixed. He gave me his card and told me to call him the next day that my car is in the shop so he could personally ensure the problem would be appropriately addressed.Took my car in again a day later and attempted to contact Eric while my car was in their shop since 7AM. After leaving NUMEROUS voicemail and being blatantly ignored, I decided to travel back to pick up my vehicle before the shop closed. When I arrived, again, nothing had been done to my car the entire day. They had finally decided to test my battery because I was already there to pick up my car. Upon FINALLY testing my battery, the state of health of my battery was 37% and couldn't hold a charge. Eric and the entire staff were zero help, and I'm still left with a faulty 12V battery. The paid KIA Connect app gives constant notifications that the battery is too low to even send commands to the car (rendering the subscription useless).If you want to waste your time with an unqualified service center and incompetent staff, you've found the right place. Definitely the last KIA we'd purchase because of Eric and Mike.

It’s hard to get help here. You make appointments to get a simple oil change and they make you wait for an hour after your appointment. You have to keep reminding them of your appointment for them to attend you. Another instance, I got my car recently stolen so I came for the recall and they couldn’t help me with reprogramming my key remote to my car again. They said they would need to charge me $100-$200 just to reprogram my key remote to my car. Poor customer service.

This has got to be the absolute worst place to get service. It takes them essentially the whole day to get a simple diagnostic done. Then don’t even call you to let you know it’s ready. Leading to you sitting for hours until you get fed up and go hassle them for your car back. Very lax unprofessional attitude all around. Seriously made me reconsider my purchase as a whole.

I took 2022 kia forte September 18 to repair ignition and passenger side window damaged by thief. They kept my car until October 31. My insurance paid $4500 . 2 weeks later window doesn’t roll up and down. I took it back to them to check it they said thief tried to open car they want insurance to pay. My car never has been touched by thieves after repaired.I took it to different auto repair they said was not properly installed in the first place. I paid $60 they fixed it. Please do not this place you will be disappointed. They are deceiver

The service was awful. I had a scheduled appointment at 7:20am I arrived at 7am and was checked in at 7:15am for the 5000 miles maintenance. It took almost 4 hours before my vehicle returned only for me to pay and then my vehicle keys were misplaced which took an additional 30 minutes for you all to locate. At no time was I updated on what was taking so long and no apologies were given. You guys have to do better.*Also some stole my laundry change and bag, trust this will be the very last time I do any business with Kia DTLA

Worst dealership ever! They delivered my new car dirty and told me to come back another day to have it detailed. They didn't show me how to use the options -- some of which still don't work. Worst of all, they didn't make the promised payments on the vehicle I traded-in, which dinged my credit. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.
