I think my daughter got a solid education even via online. The small staff is mighty and they work hard to make sure the kids are learning.

My children have attended KJSA since it's inception in 2016. Like many new schools, they went through some growing pains the first year, but I'm so glad we stuck it out with them. Principal Hunsberger and the staff really care about the students and their families. If you're looking for a school that embodies the spirit of the growth mindset then this is the school for your child. Small classroom sizes and a small campus are also a plus.

My daughter attended KJSA for all 3 years of middle school. It's a small school which is something that is hard to find in LA. We loved our experience here. She did really well and enjoyed her time at KJSA. The teachers and staff are great. We liked having that small town feel for those years. Middle school can be rough and this made it a nice easy transition from elementary to middle and still prepped her for high school. I would definitely recommend KJSA

During the solar eclipse dance, I saw this school performing their holy ritual of wearing solar eclipse glasses to admire my beauty. Additionally I'd like to thank the school for offering these holy glasses as sacrifice to me, the Sun God.

The teachers here are really caring, and do a great job at working with my daughter's individual needs and capabilities. She is gifted and the teachers push her to go even further than she has been pushed before. Very happy here.

Im a parent of a student who attends Kathryn Middle School. I have deep concerns for all the children who are attending this school. This school lacks self expression and individual character - building the staff and facilities that are responsible of guiding these children fall short on their roles in the community. I’m deeply saddened that the Principle and teachers that are children look up to and depend on to protect them are the very ones who is tearing down these students characters to express themselves. I feel my child and other are being racial profiled and punished. As black boys they are being targeted for a systemic inequality learning environment. This school divert attention from the real problems that this school has.Yet their focus is to punish rather than a refocus a solution to implement better resources to connect with these children.this school plays a role in the institutionalized racial inequality of public school education.

The teachers here are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make students and families feel welcome. The small size of the school makes this a great fit for my child.

I want actual cooked food the food is disgusting and it might have a health hazard. It might be expensive but we need a friendly learning enviroment for ever one!
