Caveat*** Haven’t tested / proven the repair.. it just got fixed**. but everything looks awesome. These guys were very kind and quick with their work. My exhaust pipe was completely disconnected and they did not try to up sell me and they explained everything clearly to me (I’m 30yo female, and that stuff happens a lot with other mechanics) I dropped my (HUGE/HEAVY) bus off at 10 am and got it back at 3 pm and was out of there under $300. Not bad. Thanks you guys, you saved the day! I’ll be back for more work, I just know it.

Eddie, John and the crew at Kartek rebuilt my engine and transmission on my rare 1962 Jeep FJ-3 fleet van back in 2010ish. I have continued to bring it in for regular maintenance since then. THEY ARE HONEST, COMPETENT AND STAND BY THEIR WORK! THEY ARE ALSO VERY FAIR ON PRICING. But most of all, they are TRUSTWORTHY.Services: Transmission

I had a very small issue on one of my cars I took it to Kartek and that's where I met Eddie and John the best customer service in the world kept me informed In every single stage of the repair on my car ...I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for any type of service on their car

Super happy with the service at Kartek! Our catalytic converter was stolen and insurance had given us a very low quote for what they were willing to reimburse. Other shops gave us the run around, but Kartek was willing to work with insurance to help them understand that California has specific requirements. They helped us get the full cost of the repair covered (minus the deductible) and even replaced the brake light that I didn't know was broken. They turned what had been a very frustrating process into a breeze!

AVOID THIS PLACE. Went in for a repaint for scratches and chipped paint. When I picked up my car there was still a scratch that they did not properly paint over and told me to come back another time so they can fix it. This should of not happened. It should of been completely fixed the FIRST TIME. Employee John did not even offer a discount for their mistake and kept saying to come back another time which became another inconvenience in my schedule. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid Kartek and go to a more credible place with better reviews

From Barbye Davis- Moriah is my daughter. I have to give this shop a shout out! They were amazing. We traveled all the way from Kansas City. We had trouble with our van leaking Antifreeze. We needed to get our van fixed so we could finish helping our daughter move her stuff into her apartment and then to drive back to Kanasa City. They fixed our issue and were very reasonably priced. Very trustworthy!

I've been relying on Kartek for more than ten years with two different cars. They were amazing with my 1991 Honda Crx, and it was great to have a trustworthy shop after my newer Suburu was out of warranty. My friend who self restored his own classic car takes his daily driver to Kartek for the repairs he doesn't want to do himself, so that's a big endorsement.

This is an amazing family-owned business, and they are also great people! My dog wandered off from our property a few days ago, she was lost and confused. Erik noticed her and quickly thought to bring her in. He held on to her until I arrived and picked her up. I'm beyond grateful to this establishment!

10/10 experience. Eddie, John, and the guys at KarTek saved the day and saved me so much time and hassle. They were so helpful with finding the best solutions for my truck, prices are reasonable and the best part is that I could trust them. Thanks again guys!

We went to them to put a cage around our new catalytic converter after having it stolen for the second time. The cage is metal and would take an hour to get through instead of the one minute it took them to takeoff the shield around the catalytic converter that was stolen the first time. I hope this will be the last time anyone tries to take out our catalytic converter, but I'm still keeping it in the garage as much as I can

Eddie and John were very rude and unprofessional! The never calll you back or answer emails. Also the left mr there for THREE WEEKS, when I t was a one day job.Also they ripped me off and overcharged me!I don't recommend this dishonest and unprofessional place!!

Honestly, if I was able to give 10 stars, I would. Visiting our son in CA from New Jersey. Borrow his car to go up to LA and car problems on the freeway. F-ck. Quickly look up the nearest muffler/exhaust shop and detoured to KarTek. I mean, we were stuck, big time.And these guys saved the day.Told us they could have it fixed in an hour, price was so fair and honest. We walked around a bit, got pho nearby, went back, and it was good as new.IF YOU LIVE IN LA GO HERE!!!! Even if it’s a little bit of a trip. They are good as gold. Kind of one of those moments where it’s like…people are good after all.Thank you KarTek. We wish you lots of success in your business, you 100 percent deserve it.
