I honestly have no idea how this place has such high stars. I received the worst gel manicure I've gotten in a long time. Also when you pay they don't ask if you'd like to tip then run your card and when you ask how to tip they are very rude and say "why didn't you tell me first before I ran the card!" When it's your business and place of work you probably should have asked me first if I'd like to tip as I have never been to your business before. I already was so upset with the bad quality of nails.

I chose this place because it was nearby. I also mistook it for Helen Nails, which I have been before for a mani/pedi for $45. I called and asked if they took walk-ins same day and they did. I showed up when they told me and am seated right away, which was great. But then everything started to fall apart. She sets me up in the chair and soaks my toes with acetone to remove a little bit of excess gel polish on my big toes. Three of my fingernails also had about 20-30% of gel and acrylic at the tip which were soaked in acetone in a metal bowl on my lap. She grabs a pedicure pack from the sterilization unit but it had not been steam/heat sterilized. There is a dot on the packaging that is supposed to turn black when sterilized but it was still brown. Then I noticed that the sterilization units aren't even plugged into the wall. I already feel icky, but I've been to places that don't even sterilize and have been okay. While working on my feet, my technician did not wear gloves. As she was clipping and cleaning away the cuticles, she frequently used her finger nails to pick at the skin. I cringed every time she used her nails to scoop out the crevices of my nail beds. As a bridesmaid, I was told to choose a light-medium neutral color with pink-tone as requested by the bride. So, I picked one from the book (#77) for both my pedicure and manicure. When she grabbed the color and started painting, the color turned out to be a light pastel pink. It was not neutral at all and was not the same color as the book. I told the technician that it wasn't the right color. She grabs the book and compares and simply says "lighter" and continues on. I tell her again, that I don't think it's the right color and she smiles and keeps going. I am not confrontational and just let her keep going thinking I'll just choose the right color for my fingernails. After about 45 minutes, my toes are finished and my hands finally get to come out of the bowl of acetone. The technician wipes them with a paper towel and uses the drill to remove the last bits - this took at most 3 minutes of her time. My hands were so dry and flaky. I told them that I want to choose a different color for my fingernails. They hand me the book again, but this time it was a different book as #77 was not there. I choose a neutral pink tone with a little bit of shimmer, it was labeled A3 mermaid in case anyone wants to check me. She goes and looks in a bin and finally finds A3 except this polish is sparkly and purple...it looked nothing like the swatch. I said it doesn't look like the right color, and she grabs another technician who confirms it is too purple. We look at the book together and she points to one that looks similar enough to the color I chose - #17. When she finds #17 from the bin, it is a neon colored fuchsia color. She looks at the color and says "too dark" and I agreed. I tried to explain that I am looking for a neutral color with pink-tone and point to examples, but both technicians continue to show me light pastel pinks and saying that those are better. There was no confirmation of the color that was going to be used for my fingers before the technician grabs the tools that were used on my feet from the tub of water and reaches for my hands. Realizing that hygiene was nonexistent and the search for a pink-toned neutral was just not in the books (pun intended) I asked if I could just pay for the pedicure and not have my nails done. The technician tells me that it's $41. I asked why the pedicure is $41 when the sign says $22, she said that it's because she had to remove the acrylic nails - the little bits that sat in acetone for 45 minutes. By the way, it's $15 for nail removal according to the sign. I'm not sure how $22+$15 is $41. Again, not confrontational, so I paid and left.

Love my nails! It was a relaxing experience and they were gentle on my feet when I told them I was very ticklish. Can't wait for my next mani pedi!

Judy was out of town and I needed a pedicure so I had to try a place down the street which was a horrible experience. This made me realize how good I have it at Judy's! Usually get my pedicure done and Judy's mom is so thorough, gentle, and really takes her time. Everyone is always so kind and accommodating. They certainly don't pressure you into any up-charges or other decisions about your nails but will kindly make recommendations if asked upon. I always always always have a great experience at Judy's and highly recommend this place for your most basic needs. I have been coming to Judy's for years and the service is always great and welcoming!

I have been coming to Judy nails for years and never would I have expected to leave with such bad nails. I would not recommend coming to this nail salon due to bad quality nails. I went in to get almond french tip nails and left with nails that are so bad. I saw that the shape came out good and had high expectations but seeing the way Judy's husband left the design sloppy and not cleaning the nails to come out nicer was very disappointing.

Manicure $17Spa Pedicure $24Everyone is kind plus they do good job.I would give 5 but on my last visit I felt they cut nails too quickly without carefully cutting. They cut corners to sharp and now I have pain on my finger because nail is growing into skin. Ouch.
