Employee with a gray hoodie and wears eyeglasses kept following me throughout the store I had a mask on no reason to profile me. Making it very obvious that this individual was following me I don’t know what made him think I was a thief I don’t know what is so dangerous about a girl with a mask on with a hello kitty shirtI would like to speak to a manager about this incident I’ve never experienced anything like this before in this store until today

Jones Market is really a gem in Los Angeles. Always better prices with international twist. You will find lot of international non gmo food that is better than the brand names with so many additives. Nice place, good prices

A pleasant surprise of variety, in terms of deli meat, cheese. Great fresh fruit and veggies section. They have a good variety of baked goods (from other vendors).Chx wings (hot) way to expensive, super cheap if you make them at home. You used to be able to get some hot roasted potatoes for 1.50-2.00$, now they repackaged and are selling the same by weight for 1$ more. Haha I notice you can't catch me.

The shopping experience at this location leaves me much to be desired. It's unfortunate that it's my neighbor grocery store within walking distance but the customer service experience and the unprofessionalism of the leadership team disgusts me. I will not be coming back and I will be suing Jons Fresh Marketplace located on 5315 Santa Monica Blvd for racial discrimination. Here's what happened. I came in and bought some groceries and a Latina cashier named Ofelia is an anti-Asian racist. She refused to bag my groceries and when I asked her politely "Can I please have a bag?" she ran off and dismissively told me (in her broken English), "You can do it yourself." So I waited for her to come back and she still refused. I asked her loudly, "Why can't you do this? This is your job." Her manager looked over and I went over and told her "Excuse me. Your cashier refused to bag my groceries. Is that not part of her job?" And, as opposed to de-escalating the situation or apologizing to me, the Persian Assistant Manager named Negin Dashtbin said, "Actually, that's not part of her job, but if she decides to bag it, she's doing you a favor." I've never heard of groceries stores where the cashier refuses to bag groceries. It's their responsibility to either provide baggers or let the cashiers do it.I feel like this is anti-Asian hate. She treats her other Latino customers with respect but refuses to treat me with dignity. I experience a lot of anti-Asian hate from Latinos in LA.This is terrible customer service. I felt uncomfortable forking over my hard-earned money so I went back and demanded a refund and the cashier Ofelia made an effort to drag in another Latino customer telling him something in Spanish saying that I'm filming them and then the dude called me "Pendejo," so I shot back, "You're the Pendejo," and he lunged at me but stopped when I raised my fist. Ofelia is a liability to Jons Fresh Supermaket and she doesn't need to be anywhere near paying customers and Jons Fresh Marketplace needs to retrain their leadership team to handle customer grievances in a professional manner. I'm going to sue Jon's Fresh Marketplace for racial discrimination.

To the 1 star review from a customer named AH posted about 4 years ago. I know you’re the type to harass employees and then post a 1 star just because you feel entitled to gaslight employees who work thankless jobs. You clearly haven’t it made it through life since you’ve been bullied a lot before and now you’re compensating by bothering hardworking people. You’re pathetic deep down

Amazing store with unique products. But the workers are poor trained and unless you speak Spanish they will not help you. Today I got a very rude treatment by the cashier named Maybey who refused to help bag my groceries. All the 3 customers in front of me got their groceries pack and all of them was Latino. I decided to ask for a manager to bring to their attention, and a gentleman who recommended himself as Juan, was polite and kind to help me bag what I purchased, but in a very reluctant way. Dear Jons market, pls try to hire more friendly and helpful staff who doesn’t only help people base on their skin color and their appearance, in the end the name of the company it’s Jons international marketplace.
