Always hosts exciting events and artists. There is a clear intelligence and humor behind the choices. In a world where many top galleries became a garage sale dumping ground of unremarkable famous name works (no one wanted at home any more but werent good enough for museums), ageless Mr Deitch always pulls in the hottest stuff around. Always my first stop in LA.Apologies, Nadia Lee Cohen for swerving any nipple bans here. Old pic. Same fun, smart place.

I had Shingles, but wanted to see the Sasha Gordon exhibit, I dragged myself downtown to the gallery on Grand Street all the way from Queens via bus and train! The dates were the same as they had been in 2022, but 2023 was on the website. I have and had the printout from the site, "Hands of Others" that spoke to the artist, her sense of unease when observing her own body, behaviors, etc., the use of doppelgangers, the idea of lucid dreams, etc., I couldn't get there fast enough!!The woman at the desk told me I had the dates wrong, it was last year. THEY had the dates wrong and have since addressed the issue on the website. I was dismayed. I have nothing against the gallery, I do think they need to ensure information is correct on the site, the FIRST time.I was not intrigued by the exhibit that was there; I had wasted my time as well as placed a notch on my sense of wellness.

Wonderful gallery installation. The Anadol exhibit: we enjoyed the eye opening AI generated art.

Small but beautiful exhibit! I could watch the digital images for such a long time if I could because they're just so mesmerizing. Definitely worth the visit. The exhibits I saw were by Refik Anadol, including the infinity room :)

Check it out! I really liked the Refik Anadol exhibit. Science and art and movement- More please! The infinity room I'd avoid unless you've never experienced it before: Long line due to IG kids going one by one to photograph themselves and ultimately not worth it if you've experienced this type of thing before. EXPERIENCE THE SCIENCE ART INSTEAD!Thank you Refik AND Jeffrey for sharing this experience.

Super cool gallery, with innovative exhibits and great explanation of what goes into each art piece. Definitely recommend going before they close! Best part, it’s free!

Gallery is beautiful, exhibit is great. However don’t park in nearby lot as they DO NOT VALIDATE like it says.

A free art gallery in weho showcasing some interesting artwork from local artists. No tickets needed, just walk in. Has other locations (different exhibits) around LA as well. Look online for the schedule. For this location, there’s an entrance in the front and the back, and garage parking close by. Very small gallery, two main rooms with tall ceilings. Gets busy on weekends. Right now the exhibit currently shows living paintings by Refik Anadol, beautiful kinetic digital artwork driven by data and AI. You’re not going to learn much reading the info but you get to enjoy some spectacular digital art. There’s also plenty to eat, drink, and check out in the area so you can make a day of your trip. The infinity room was very underwhelming and not worth the long line in my opinion (low res projections and dirty floor). Will definitely keep an eye out for events and come back. Highly recommend!
