Excellent service and quality work. In January I had an engine installed in my 2008 Ridgeline. Every call and text was answered immediately, they worked with my schedule, had my truck ready early, and best of all, my local mechanic inspected it today during a normal service and said the work was done “perfectly.”Nice job! this was a first time purchase from any type of engine depo type deal. called the number listed online. Joe was the one to answer the phone. being that they are an importer for several engines i did not expect to have someone as knowledgeable as he was on the phone. the whole process was very easy and they had great communication through out everything. answered all my questions that i had to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. shipping was quick all the way to hawaii and arrived just as described and pictured. very great company to deal with. Prices were fair as well.

Lmfaoooo, this dude clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about, I asked him for a motor that would work for a 2006 Honda Civic si, he told me the k20a would work, when I saw that the lobes were completely different from the cams that I have, I noticed that this motor was not true ivtec, true ivtec contains 3 lobes on the intake and 3 lobes on the exhaust cams, we then opened up the k20a valve cover and I than saw that the intake cam had only 2 lobes and 1 lobe for exhaust... therefore that motor he gave me was the wrong one, it clearly isn’t true ivtec. I know my stuff bro, and it’s funny you think I’m a kid lol. He also stated “this is the first time I’m hearing of this” how is this the first time of you hearing this, like what bro I thought you really knew what true ivtec/vtec was. My point is proven and yours ain’t so stop claiming you right buddy...

Was going to purchase a 2GR-FSE from here but we couldn't come to an agreement on finalizing the purchase. I was told they are able to do compression/leak down tests at first, but then after I was told it's not something offer.I seemed to have scared them away once I looked inside the cylinder walls for damage with my boroscope because they also refused to sell me the engine with warranty since they said "I know too much about the engine"(All other about 7-8 shops I visited let me look inside no problem)Although I found it hilarious and I had no intention of giving them a hard time with the warranty, I understand their thought process was for their protection from what they thought would be a parasitic customer.The person I spoke to (who I'm assuming was either a manager or the owner) was relatively friendly and not pushy, just became a bit condescending towards the end.With that aside, compared to other JDM shops I visited, this place was cleaner, more organized and they seem to be more careful handling their inventory. They also had one of the better priced 2GR-FSEs.Regardless of my experience, which I would just consider a big misunderstanding, I'm giving 5 stars.I would recommend this shop to others, although I had an interesting experience.I would still consider doing business in the future if they allow thorough inspection of the engine and if they decide they'll offer compression test/leak down testing.

Good prices and good parts. Friendly owner-Update: I will not be coming back here again, purchased a U-frame for my STi and he stated that I could take it back if it wasn't the one I wanted but afterwards when I came to refund it a couple days later because it wasn't the exact part, he denied saying anything and refused a refund.

Motor came on time, but was rusting and looked far worse than the example photos. Rust was noticed inside and out, it clearly was stored outside for a good amount of time.I've included a photo of the top of the rusty valves, I am worried that I spent $1800 for a paperweight. I also had to request my proof of purchase email and tracking numbers.I would not purchase from them without inspecting the engine in person, and in general after this experience would not recommend purchasing from them.

J.D.M. motors made my life a living hell i recently bought a transmission for a friend of mine in need. I paid 700 dollars thinking i could cover it. well i covered it but i made a mistake on my books so i had to return it or go without paying my rent. oh and i never took it out of my trunk since i bought it. so i called J.D.M. motors and informed them of my situation. that i made a mistake that by purchasing a transmission from them and is now on the brinks on homeless. I talked to Joe who declared himself to be the owner. he told me its not his problem he wont return the he didn't care the situation. then hung up on me.
