CO-OP Shared Branches have different guidelines to follow than your own credit union. Please be understanding.

Always great customer service! I have been a loyal customer for decades. My parents were customers at the Long Beach, CA branch (permanently closed). Excellent rates for car loans too!

I am writing to shed light on an issue that has plagued numerous Crenshaw district locals. Taking into account my personal experience, history, racial disparities and economic statistics of Los Angeles County. Being an African American it appears to be a tale of two cities between North and South L.A. During my visit to this co-op credit union. I was met with a contentious sign that illustrated the discriminative customer service that would follow. Once inside, the operations manager who went by the name Chris questioned the legitimacy of my provided documents for account verification yet refused to contact my primary credit union to confirm that the documents given were accurate. He gestured to his security to ask me to leave the premises with no recourse. I went back the following day after I contacted my primary credit union to confirm the documents required for my transaction. I brought along another party to witness my testimony. When I approached the door the same security guard from the day before informed me that they could not service me. This prompted me to pull out my phone and record the exchange. Once I began recording the guard quickly went inside to seek help from the manager. I recorded the dialogue from this exchange as well. Having a level of cognitive dissonance on a surface level one could write this off as coincidence but after I read all of the unfavorable reviews on Yelp paired with the low 2.8 Google review summary. I could not omit the systematic racism demonstrated by this financial institution. Establishments like this are vile for the community.

Yesterday I was there and I was treated so badly. I woke up still feeling bad and abused by the employees of the banking institution. I wonder do they treat all their customers like this. Like they don't matter or have a say in how they are treated or spoken too. Unprofessional

If only you can give a zero. The Asian teller is so rude every time I come there. It’s like he looks for a reason to not help me. I understand there I rules but I feel like I’m profiled every time I go there.

Everyone that works here needs training on how to be courteous. Worst customer service, rude with horrible attitudes. The one star was being nice.

I've been coming here for years. I love the people, they are friendly & kind. They ARE a stickler for rules but so are the other banks that accept COOP transactions. I'm glad that they are here. Thank you!

This is a shared branch and I have been coming to this location for about 2 years now and EACH time the discriminatory manager makes my experience very unsettling. I've finally come to write a review and decide to just go to another branch as others have suggested. I'm usually told different things by different people when I come into this branch to make deposits, withdrawals and transferring money. Even after calling my credit union on the phone they have said I'm not sure why they are making this difficult for you, when you have simple request. One doesn't like to include racism as a excuse for mistreatment but when a customer has a valid form of id (drivers license) can verify their account activity and has a substantial amount in my accounts what more do you need from me to prove I am who I say I am and why does he make simple request so tedious with certain customers? I understand all the fraud that's been going on but after seeing me come handle transactions at the location for quite some time and being familiar with my accounts and face HE still treats me like he's never met me and gives me the "you're a scammer" treatment. If you're going to be in this community show more respect and better customer service. Or maybe just go work at another branch in another neighborhood with the type of people you want to serve because it's a pattern with not just me but from the reviews, others have experienced him as well.

I’ve been a member of this credit union for many many years…but I just noticed that this days people that works in this cc are getting more inefficient with the service ….perhaps maybe they are not getting good orientation or they are just hiring people that not really qualify to do their job!!!!!and just FYI security questions is not a password!!!!!know the difference Mr Scott!!!!!???????

Security is trigger ready and happy on his phone and even with at least four employees seated behind plastic wrap they only allow 1 person in at a time. Wild. Fortunately I don't have anymore business with them.

If you’re under confidentiality and your CDL/DL reflects a PO Box don’t even bother. This place is a waste of time.** All LE Officers BEWARE**

This credit Union should NOT be a shared branch. They do not make it accessible to service those from an outside credit union and they have a pattern of treating Black customers a certain manner, per Yelp.1) max cash withdrawal is $500.2) They refused to let me take money out of my account because my drivers license has a middle name on it, and my credit union account just has my first and last. They said it was because of "fraud" even though I've banked here before. This location is not friendly and will not budge on their silly policies. Next.

Go see CU of Southern California at 470 S San Vicente instead. This credit Union should NOT even be a shared branch. They do not make it accessible to service those from an outside credit union. 1) max cash withdrawal is $500. 2) The male teller refused to let me take money out of my account because my drivers license has a middle name on it, and my credit union account just has my first and last. I asked if they could just verify through my SSN - no. He said it was because of "fraud" even though I've banked here before. He also told me "they must have made a mistake" letting me take money out of my account previously. This location is not friendly and will not budge on their policies. The other reviews indicate they treat their other customers the same way. Next.
