Their error (according to franchise tax agent) cost me $1100.00 & though they've charged me extra for their "peace of mind", they still denied my claim so I lost $1100.00 by using their services! I would strongly recommend NOT using them.

I wish I could give more stars. I have been working with Jesse Dixon for the passed two years. This year my situation was a bit more complicated than the others. Not only did Jesse literally hold my hand and walk me through every step calmly and patiently but was there was for ever day every step of the way ever day 7 days a week and at any hour of the day and night. She is truly the tax angel I can not thank her enough. Thank you Jesse you rock!

Where has Marianna been all my life ?! She did some back taxes for me and I'm so happy with the experience. Price was very reasonable too. Don't hesitate -she's been there for years! Office is in West Hollywood

Had an appointment with Charles Watson at the 4768 Ashford Dunwoody location, Atlanta GA. My appointment was at 1PM Sunday. No one was in the office and I waited 40 minutes or so. I never received a call or an email explaining the cancellation and no show. I planned my day around the appointment. 20 plus years I've used this H & R Block and this is the thanks I get.

Floridalma has been absolutely amazing!! She is so sweet and extremely quick and responsive with any and all questions!! She's worked with me as much as possible to help me secure the best refund I'm able to receive. She is very willing to help and cares about her clients :)

You guys are awesome, thanks for always being so Kind easy to deal with and always honoring what you say. It's so hard to find reliable people nowadays and to know that I have someone solid to do my taxes and actually help walk me through everything, and explain something to me if I don't understand, which most people never do. It's a complete weight off my shoulders I know that I'm gonna get transparent work completed and I'm gonna understand exactly what I'm signing and paying for it, thank you guys for always being the easiest people to deal with makes my life a lot better for the short period of time I have to spend here once a year

Amanda did a great job of getting me a sizable refund on my rather complicated return this year, and was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her for your tax needs. It was as painless as possible, given that I can't stand taxes.

This review is long overdue. I'm suspicious of all of the positive reviews here. Beware - this location is not at all transparent about their prices. I had my taxes done by Marianna Leybel last year. My taxes are very straightforward -- one W-2 and an HSA account. I was charged $400 - way more than this would've cost anywhere else. I know because I've gone to quite a few other places in previous years. I ended up complaining to H&R Block's corporate office. While they were surprisingly sympathetic and understanding, ultimately there was nothing they could do for me since this location is a franchise office and apparently sets its own prices. This year I used Turbo Tax and knowing I poured $400 down the drain a year ago still bothers me. Stay away.

I am a 35 year old from Boston and just filed 2017 Taxes with Marianna Leybel from H&R Block West Hollywood. Like most people I have dreaded my taxes. For me it was more because I have never really understood taxes. I had filed for an extension and desperately needed to properly file. I signed up online for an appointment and started to upload several of the important documents. It's only the second year in LA filing and Marianna made the process as seamless as possible. She spent about 1 hour and 20 minutes with me and helped me get a great tax return back. She got on the phone with my mom and ensured some confidence back into me. I would highly recommend Marianna and H&R Block! She is a pro in the business!

Ridiculous service, ask how much they will charge you before even start talking to the tax advisor. The prices that you see on the website are misleading, not even close to the real cost. Also, they throw you around from tax person to another without telling you, it seems that appointments in advance don't make any difference...
