This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a tax professional, and I’ve had bad experiences in the past. This year I needed to file individual taxes as well as LLC taxes. Being my first year, I didn’t know you had to file them together. Nor did my tax professional apparently. They filed my taxes anyway, knowing I had an LLC and said they would have to have one of their colleagues help me with the LLC later. When I followed up with the LLC professional (she never reached out to me, as I was told she would) she told me she would do the amendment with my LLC as a favor by the end of April. I never heard back from her despite reaching out twice via the H&R Block online system. Eventually I had to call corporate and ask for a new appointment. They scheduled the appointment and even sent me a reminder but the tax professional ghosted the meeting. I have not been reached out to and will have to call corporate again. It is now mid May and I suspect I am accruing interest with the IRS because of H&R Block’s failure to resolve the mess they created. This is so stressful and they don’t care at all. I will be warning everyone against them in the future and I will never use them again.
