We are so grateful to have found this local, small, family-owned doggy daycare. Our pup loves everyone here, and gets to run around with her crazy buddies safely off-leash to burn off some of that puppy energy. 10 stars!

Eddie, Hazel, and their team are great! Super well run. They become familiar with your dog, are kind, make sure your dog socializes well, send pics when boarding for the day or overnight, and meet you out front for pick up/drop off. Highly recommend them!

We have boarded our Big Bella at Hounds of the Hills twice now and plan on doing so again on our next trip. Whenever I reach out to HOTH, they respond with photos of Bella having a great time, hanging and playing with other dogs. She has a big exhausted smile on her face, which tells me she is having fun and not missing us at all. I also really like that the boarding is in a house. It is what she is used to and she seems comfortable. I recommend HOTH.

If you are looking for place where your dog will make friends, have fun, and will be well cared for, Hounds of the Hills is great! Dan and Shan are very professional, friendly, and responsible people. We left our puppy with them for a couple of weeks and he couldn't have been happier. We received updates from Shan regularly and that put us at ease as this was our first time leaving our puppy at a boarding facility. We will definitely use their services again!

Shan and Daniel take such great care of my chihuahua when we're in Hollywood and I trust her as family to care for my Jango. The picture of the 2 dogs is one that Shans walkers took and sent me during my VIP tour at Universal studios so I could feel at ease that my Jango was happy, even though we had left Jango with Hounds of the hills a few times before.I also didn't leave Jangos leash but they had one and a harness to take him for a walk. We had planned a trip In March to Los Angeles but the COVID-19 SHUTDOWN slammed the door on that and we had 6 days stay planned for Jango, but we'll be there in 2021 and have HOUNDS OF THE HILLS care for Jango again for sure.J. Shan was absolutely amazing with our dog! We were traveling from out of state and needed a place for our pup to stay for the week. Shan was very helpful with communicating the paperwork we would need to send ahead of time, cost, as well as daily activities of what they do with the dogs. When we arrived Shan came out to meet Chance and allowed him to meet the dogs that were already there one at a time so he could adjust. We really appreciated that! Throughout the week we received updates on how our pup was doing along with pictures. When my husband and I came to pick him up he was super worn out from playing. Shan informed us on how he was the whole week and even gave us some tips on if we board him again in the future. We appreciated her honesty and were supper grateful that Shan and the staff were able to care for our pup so well. If we're ever back in California and need boarding for our dog we will definitely be returning to Hounds of the Hills!

Hounds of the Hills or Man of the hills? Dan and Shan were very nice and assuring that our 5 month old pomsky (Pomeranian mixed with husky) King Skyler would be safe and playing with loving dogs. As soon as we got there our puppy loved and played with Dan, Shan, and a pup. But as soon as they let out multiple dogs they all got at king and started trying to dominate him. Our poor puppy was fearful and kept jumping on our arms crying as these dogs continued to bark, growl, and hump him. They then assured they would keep him in a cage but took the statement back and said he would be kept blocked off in the dining room. We then entered the small house where we heard dogs fighting. We had to carry our poor puppy the whole way. We love our puppy as if he is a family member and we do not recommend leaving your dog unless you don't mind if he is bullied and harassed. We ended up leaving our dog at a pet smart near by who kept our dog safe and sent us pictures of them playing with King Skyler. Every one has there own experience and unfortunately ours was bad. We are from NJ and were on our way to universal studios and are grateful pet smart was able to keep our dog safe, loved, and fed.

We were traveling in California and we wanted to stop at Universal Studios but we had our dog, so I did a quick Google search and found this amazing service. I called and spoke with Shan over the phone, she immediately sent me an email and followed up with a text message. The next day I dropped off our dog and I was immediately comforted by their (Dan & Shan) professionalism and their care with the animals that were already there. About three hours after we left I received a text and a photograph of our dog - they let me know that she was doing very well in the "pack". Highly recommend!

On vacation from our Las Vegas home, we have the extreme good fortune to find HOUNDS OF THE HILLS where we boarded our three little dog babies for a week. They were so loved, had much attention, many walks and really had a fun time. This place has no equal....it is simply the best.
