I checked out this place sometime after new years and was disappointed with their appraisals. It seemed like any item I presented was worth a fraction of what other pawn shops were offering, which seemed odd. One of the items was a gold plated Gingko Biloba leaf that the older gentleman claimed was inauthentic which wasn’t true. I can attest to the fact that i’ve showed at least two other pawn shops that would have gladly taken it. I just wanted to see where I can get the most bang for my buck. Obviously not here. I heard them speaking in Armenian and the older gentleman mentioned his distaste for members of LGBTQ+ community while I was browsing.

Brought my car key here because they replace batteries and after waiting 30 minutes for what’s supposed to be a simple replacement, he comes out having broken my key and managed to first blame me for it saying “you brought it to us broken.” Then after I tell him that’s not true he goes back in, finds the latch for my key (which he blamed me for losing/breaking), and says it was already broken when I brought it in. Ridiculous!! Do not trust these people with your valuables!!

Beautiful pawn items but terrible for repairs. I usually don’t post negative reviews but I wish I hadn’t taken my antique ring here. It was so special to me and now it’s ruined. I brought my 1908 Antique garnet and diamond ring in for repair after the center stone had fallen out, and the guy who I initially talked to was super friendly and knowledgeable, so I felt fine leaving it with them and was excited to pick it up in a week. Everything was downhill from there. It was super hard to get a hold of them, I would call and they’d say they were too busy and to try again another day. Finally, about 2 weeks later I was able to go pick it up and I was crushed. There were super obvious, deep gashes in the gold they’d made to place the center gem back in, almost like it had been soldered. It looks incredibly cheap. In addition, as soon as they gave it to me I noticed one of the small diamonds had shifted and was no longer flat and plum with surface of the ring like the others, but at an angle like it was going to fall out. I brought this up and they insisted it had been like that before (it hadn’t) and there was nothing they had done, and nothing they could do, to fix it. Well, a month later and that diamond has indeed gotten chipped off due to its odd angle. I know antique rings are much more difficult to work with than contemporary, but I wish they had just let me know if they weren’t up to the task, instead of doing such a shoddy job. Oh, also they tried to charge me more upon pick up than they had quoted when I dropped it off.

Drove 45 minutes to get here under the impression that they were one of the few businesses in this category that were open on sundays, (according to google maps). But they are closed. I shoulda called first. ?

I just love coming to this location, I came in searching for one thing and I purchased more. Everyone is so friendly. I will always come back and purchase my jewelry here the prices are very fair. They have a great layaway plan.

I called to asked for details regarding my loan but the guy who answered my call was really rude. He won't listen to my explanation and he keeps on talking without making sure that I understand what he's talking about. Not a great customer service TBH.

Honest, fast, friendly, and knowledgeable watch repair. Took five minutes to fix our problem! We went to another place in Costa Mesa that diagnosed the same watch and would have charged much more for the repair, and did not include theq cost of the battery. These awesome guys fixed two watches and included the batteries for much less! Highly recommended!

Gentleman fixed a number of fine jewelry items at a reasonable price; I didn't feel “ripped offâ€... and boy did he know what he was doing. Everything looks AMAZING. Including gold hoops I thought were unsalvagable. They're also open on Sundays which is convenient. I plan on going here for any/all jewelry and watch repairs moving forward.

I came here out of desperation to find a neighborhood jewelry repair shop and had always seen this place advertised in its store window when I'd be in the area at Kaiser or the Rite Aid. I gambled on not having read any reviews being as I didn't know the name of the place exactly. I am VERY SATISFIED with the workmanship of several jewelry pieces I left in strangers' hands. I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and gave them a try. My unbiased opinion is that of complete satisfaction, having fixed even a pair of destitute gold hoop earrings. The man (very nice btw) behind the counter even went out of his way to show me how to put my earrings on without compromising their inherent delicate nature. Great customer service! Perfection in jewelry repairs and cheap watch batteries! Super happy customer here who will go again in the future no doubt.
