Danella Dutton’s Salsa On-1 Beginning Class is everything wonderful I’d expect from superior dance instruction, practice & mastery. I take the Monday night classes, where classmates are warm, dance moves explicitly explained, practiced, & eventually mastered. Fellow guys & gals with more experience, pls excuse my 2 left feet. I’ve progressed favorably in 10 months. I can now demonstrate knowledge of, if not mastery in, at least 12 cool movidas. I hope 2 learn a dozen more in this welcoming, inclusive community.

I've been taking ballet classes as an adult beginner with Elspeth Kuang and she is a wonderful instructor. Patient but pushes you to learn, and makes sure to correct students along the way (which is a rarity for adult classes). I would give her ten stars if I could. I've seen my technique improve after each class.Haven't explored the facility much otherwise, but street parking is free after 7pm. If you are looking for evening classes to stay in shape, this is the spot.Note that you will book with/pay the instructor and not the facility, so check their website and get in touch with your teacher before coming to the first class!

The Facility: Two studios are on the 2nd floor. The stairs are quite steep. Masks are required in the common area. The dance studios are a little bit outdated. The dance studio we were using has two fans. After one hour class..... super hot. Not sure if the A/C is working? The Parking; Street parking in the front or on the side streets.

Simply the best room in Los Angeles for all things "dance." Great energy, amazing floors, huge rooms, talented teachers, fair prices and the BEST community of people running and patronizing this place. It is an epicenter for dancers and artists of a certain sensibility. You will find and embrace "your people" here. (Well, I certainly did!) Ballet has been the primary draw for me here. Maestras Elspeth Kuang, Pam Phillips ... from adult professionals to wee ballerina/butterflies in training... they make magic. I can't wait to return.

I took a rent in Hollywood Dance Center. I love the place. The rooms are really clean, have a good energy and have lots of mirrors. So glad I found this studio. Rent is 35$ so the price is also good.

This is such a great place to hire! The ladies here Pam and Miranda are so welcoming and make It feel like family. The studios are HUGE! and a great price for the space. I bring my own disco lights and turn off the fluro ones. They also have multiple lighting choices here and you can just use the chandeliers for more ambiance. Peak times are generally booked by long term hirers but its the best place in West Hollywood to rent for privates which I can book daytimes. They have 2 large studios upstairs. Free parking after 7pm right out front which is great.

I started doing ballet when I was approximately 7 years old and stopped when my dad passed oct of 2020... after the encouragement of my best friend, reminding me how much my dad loved to watch me dance... I started to look around and couldn't be more thankful I found this beautiful space, place and people. Me. Elspeth (my ballet teacher) asks your background and training to ensure you're taking the classes you are best fit for at the time as you get your technique back- and she truly cares. We stay in class if there isn't someone right after until we can't stand. And the owner Ms. Pam? A true diamond of a lady! How I love her, Ms. Miranda, Mr. Dan and Ms. Elspeth so! This place has saved me

I love Michael and Natalia's Salsa and Ballroom dance lessons. They both make the class so fun and at the same time wonderful instructors that make the steps easy to learn and follow. The global pandemic has been stressful for everyone, music and dance has been very therapeutic. Every one is welcomed!
