I went to Hirsch Pipe and Supply in Glendale California today with a worker that is remodeling my bathroom. The person that helped us,A L Sandoval, was extremely unpleasant.My worker was asking him about a fitting of some ABS pipes and his response to my worker was, "you are supposed to tell me what you need, not me tell you what you to get". If he's having a bad day or problems at home that's not my problem and he should not take his bad mood to his job. He is in a customer service, a position where he should be cordial and helpful not rude!I should have just spoke up at the time and asked for a different salesperson. If he can be so rude then I can ask for somebody else. If I ever go back I will be sure to request a different salesperson.

One stop shop for all your plumbing needs. The trick is you'll need to grab a number which most people forget. Then, wait. Avoid early hours and the cheap free coffee is great.

Here is your one stop shop, if your a DIY. If your not to sure about something ask the staff they are very knowledgeable about Plumbing. And To the professional .Yes there is a hirsch in this side of town.

Jimmy at Hirsch Valencia will straight lie to your face then not warranty a leaking 1 month old water heater. When you complain he lied and accused licensed plumbers of doing a bad job. When we go to court he can explain what an expert he is and all the licenses he holds.

I would recommend working for Hirsch! I had the opportunity of working their for 38 years. Great company great benefits and you will be part of a big family. If you are just out of high school and don't know what to do try Hirsch or college graduate never though about distribution try Hirsch. I retired from Hirsch and can only say great things about them.

I thought this was a professional place. Went in with what I thought was a basic plumbing problem that needed a particular part, and the guy at the counter seemed to know nothing about actual plumbing. No help at all, nor were his colleagues. His best suggestion was to wait around for somebody to walk in the store and ask him. Got better plumbing advice from Do-It-Best Hardware on York.
