I recently went to the Herman Miller store at Century City and was helped by Ryan Whitcomb. Ryan is one of the best sales associates I have ever encountered. He is knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and definitely a big reason why I decided to make a purchase. If you get to speak to Ryan, he will definitely make sure your shopping experience is easy and fun.

I was in town visiting and we decided to head to Century City Mall for some shopping. I noticed they had a Hermann Miller store in their directory and decided to head on over.I recently was involved in a major motor accident 5 months ago leaving me with back complications and leg issues. During my weekly sessions with my PT she strongly advised on a work chair that would help alleviate the issues while sitting. My spine is shifted to the right and my alignment is off due to my physical issue. Sitting and standing can be very uncomfortable after 2 hours.I was recommended the Embody Chair by friends and also my PT. It was nice to be able to go in and try out the chair in person at their showroom. It's quite a small show room, but they had a lot of chairs on hand..Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a woman sitting on the left side. She was very nice and said you are welcome to try anything let us know if you have any questions. I like that, because I'm very particular when it comes to service. Acknowledging is nice, but to give someone space without bum rushing them is also a huge plus. My sister and I proceeded to test the chairs. Another sales person came out on the right to say hi. She noticed I was sitting in the body Chair and said if I have questions about the features let her know.After a few minutes of trying out chairs I asked for assistance. Paola was very patient as it was 30 minutes to closing and I told her I would return the following day to purchase as I did not want to keep them late. I returned the next day and she went over the features again, talked about the customization, warranty and shipping process. Her manager even came out to say hello. I purchased the chair and she continued to keep me up to date on my shipment process which was really nice.I received my chair a few days after I returned, which worked out. It came in an extremely large box already assembled, securely packed and upright as the instructions stated. It's so nice to have a chair already assembled. The wheels and features she went over worked perfectly. I have used the chair the last few days and no issues on my back. I am over the moon about my chair. The purchasing process was very seamless and quick. Thank you Paola for an exceptional service and understanding my physical needs. It's very rare to get someone in sales that will listen to your needs and in turn try to shove some product down your throat you don't want.

Now that my job has gone fully work from home, I realized I need to upgrade my office chair to something more ergonomic. After recommendations from others, I stopped by the Herman Miller concept store before committing to such a high price tag.I'm very glad I did. I'd already spent some time on the website checking out the options and add-ons, and Fabien helped advise me on the correct size and gave me genuine advice without pushing me towards the more expensive options. It ended up being several hundred dollars cheaper than if I'd ordered through the site, and I was all set up within ten minutes.I'll update this review once the order arrives. I was told that the chair will arrive fully assembled, but that they don't have a contract with FedEx to guarantee that the driver will be willing to bring it upstairs. So note that if you live in an apartment without an elevator, you may need a friend to help get it inside unless you have a super chill delivery driver who is willing to go the extra mile (and if they do, consider tipping them with a cold beverage and a snack).

I'm a huge fan of Herman miller so I was excited to see they have a store in Century City, but it seems like (along with other reviews) that they need to work on their customer service. I was stared at by a couple people when walking in which felt weird, but besides that, when I inquired about the differences between the chairs, the lady who was on her computer didn't even look at me and dismissed me with a one-line answer. I felt so terrible by the way I was treated, and left the store immediately. They really need to work on their customer service, especially considering how expensive their products are

Herman Miller has always been my favorite! We are planning on buying two lounge chairs so we visited the store in the Century Mall. A lady by the name of Kim assisted us. What a service! She was very courteous, helpful answered all our questions helped us get more information and offered special pricing when we are ready! She gave us few samples of the leathers and wood to take home! Amazing service. This only proves that the courtesy and caring on her part earns our business. I can never forget. I know when we are ready, she will definitely earn our business.

Thanks Rob for giving a thorough demo and introduction to some Herman Miller chairs! Walked in just hoping to try out an Aeron but definitely walked out with a better idea of the products thanks to his help. Definitely considering buying one in the near future!

An overall great place to compare & test out Herman Miller Chairs before making that big purchase! The store employees I've met in the times I've been here are super informative & nice. Personally I'd recommend to chose the chair w/the extra support functions that fits to your body type & needs! Personal Favorites: Sayl Pros: Great Price, Stylish, Comfortable, Great for 4-6 Hour Sits, Cons: Poor Elevation/Rise, Not as comfortable as Aeron/Embody Aeron Pros: Really Comfortable, Suited for Work From Home (6-10 Hrs), Great ergonomic features w/back support options, & mesh is much easier to clean than other materials for spills. Cons: Expensive, Not as Stylish. Sizes mean (A-Small, B-Medium/Large, C-Large) Embody Pros: Really Comfortable, Suited for Long Work Hours(6-10), Arm Widths great for all types of body sizes, great design for back support! Cons: Expensive, hard to clean up spills since it's not mesh. Pros & Cons of Buying New (From HM) vs Used (Third Party) 12 Year amazing warranty More Expensive(2x) Guarantee of Authenticity from Herman Miller More likely to last than buying a used chair due to being new. If your company has a partnership w/Herman Miller or you have a WFH stipend, it's a great consideration since you'll get a big discount & won't have to pay for most of it! Definitely getting an Aeron after sitting in my work ones!

I visited this store yesterday inquiring about a chair for neck issues. I couldn't even finish explaining what I was interested in before the saleswoman interrupted me and took over the conversation. She had zero interest in understanding my needs and I was really put off. I left pretty quickly without even browsing.
