It’s rough in this place. People are very aggressive and will take things from your cart, they have no social grace and lack the ability to be kind and patient and respectful. You need to be thick skinned and able to tolerate some very obnoxious people in this place. Resellers are relentless

This is the outlet store that they roll out these huge bins of items rejected from other stores, presumably.
It's dystopian and kind of gross. I've rarely found anything good here. A bunch of frumpy looking people hastily rummaging through these bins. Do they even need the stuff or are they a bunch of hoarders? I don't know. It's not cute.
I prefer the normal store next-door because I'm a bougie thrift store shopper, and like to pretend I'm rich.

People were rude and borderline violent. I saw multiple people steal items from peoples carts. I saw groups of resellers tossing the clothes they no longer wanted on the floor and then walking / stepping on the clothing. Multiple employees rammed new bins into me (I was not standing where I wasn’t supposed to) and one bin rolled over my foot. There is no law or order here.
However, this is one of the last few thrift stores you can truly get a good deal. I found a lot of really fun and unique pieces for a total of under $50.
If you are fine with people encroaching on your personal space and grabbing things from bins before they are supposed to, then you’ll be fine here. I visited the Goodwill Outlet in Panorama City before and the management did NOT tolerate people stealing things from other people’s carts or grabbing things from new bins before all the bins are brought out.
Will I be coming back? Idk. The Panorama City outlet felt comparatively much less chaotic.

This was an awful experience. I’d rather spend my morning digging through bins of snakes. Everyone is so rude and so pushy. Literal grown men running, pushing and tossing things everywhere. I watched more than one old lady get shoved aside by a man. If you feel like fighting to the death for garbage this is the place for you.

Don't bother coming here on the weekend, you're going to be competing with 50+ people for every set of rotated bins. It's ridiculous when it comes to competition since this GW outlet is well known, it's not like other GW bins where it's only a few people per bin. Too many teen groups hunting for their baggy vtg shirts and jeans and resellers elbowing your sides. All the bins that are ignored are basically nearly worthless since they're scavenged clean, unless you know how to hunt for mids that people ignore or are interested in hipster clothes people don't want. And the rumors about the workers and manager sorting and taking all the good stuff before they bring out the bins is true because almost every bin that I sifted through (w/ the 50+ other people) barely get anything good these days.
You basically have to be extremely lucky and know exactly what to find if you want to stand a chance of finding some good deals. Be there for the morning rotation or don't bother. Or maybe go to the retail store next door and avoid the crowds altogether.

I’m handicapped in a wheelchair with prostate issues and was not allowed to use the restroom because GW greed has caused them to close their restrooms against it’s own customers. So until they open their restrooms up NO MORE DONATIONS FROM ME. And I recommend everyone else do the same.

They renovated the retail store to make it basically half the size of what it used to be. Selection is minimal now. On top of this, they jacked up the prices on their items. Some of which are more than what you would buy at retail. Not very “Community Enrichment” friendly when you make items unaffordable for the people who actually live in the community. Shameful.

So there is an outlet next door to a goodwill store. At the outlet, there are bins of clothes to go through. Took me a couple of hours to browse through them. Found a few items. Went next door to Goodwill store, thought to see if this one had items I would normally look for. The inventory was low. The clothing racks were not full. It was a Friday night, 30 minutes before they closed. Not busy. I saw a review where someone said they were rude. I didn't see or hear anything mean or bad. The community enrichment center was closed due to construction. I will come back to the bins.

Stores trash now, all the good stuff is behind where customers can't even get too.

My high and low search through nabbing a DVD copy of 1977's "Ruby" lead me at some far away Goodwill Thrift Store/Donation Center venue --go figure!! But,it paid off in spades:Protective case proves better than presentable...disc itself had nary scratch one...plus impressed with the bubble mailer(quite literal everybody's win-win,on considering their mission as well as this library patron's intent to donate said freshly procured true horror classic for all his neighbors' enjoyment).
