I recently visited Galerie Sommerlaths on Jeffereson Blvd and I am so glad I did! I had been searching for dining room chairs for close to 3 months before I found this place. I needed something that was durable, adorable, comfortable, and affordable. As it turned out this was the Holy Grail of chair requirements and what i thought was going to be impossible to find until i met Michele and her team! I stopped in to look at a particular set of chairs that i liked, seen on the website, and left with a different set of chairs that I LOVED!!!!!! The gallery space is clean, maneuverable, and styled gorgeously. Michelle and her team were kind, knowledgeable, and very reasonable with pricing! Thanks again for your help i adore my purchase and will be back again for more. CJ

It's like manhattan without the prices. The quality of the gallerie's stock is uniformly high and the amount surprisingly large, all of it well presented and most arranged in intricate tableaus - no stacks of furniture or faded garage sale items here. A number of the pieces are also totally off the beaten track, probably due to the owner's many trips abroad. In my experience, mainly vintage/antique stores in Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey as well as frequent checks on what's available from online sites, her prices are very reasonable for the quality of her stock. Reading the older reviews, I have to assume there is a different owner now since she and the staff were very helpful and lovely to deal with.
