Best place. They took care of me and my wife when we wanted new shirts and shoes. Would make the drive from Orange County to Posers any day of the week

What can I say, they must pay to have good reviews on here. We wanted to go to the official Dr.Martens store in Burbank but my friend said to come here. The weird girl with that hair kept babbling on about how many styles of Docs they had and how they were a company store (that's not true, they are a mom and pop store) but most of their Dr.Martens are old and obsolete, you can see the dried glue or sole separating on the displays and you can find these at swap meets or online for $20+ yet here they are marked at $200 because they are 'vintage'. The girl did not know much about the shoes and kept bringing the wrong size and as I sat there the dirt around the store almost made me vomit. Eventually we left and went to the official Dr.martens store in Silverlake and snagged the shoes at a realistic price. Getting back to the reviews, as we left the girl offered to give us a free tshirt if we left a good review on Yelp, of course the shirt promoted their store. Yeah, no thanks. Always go to the OFFICIAL stores, it's much more professional, cleaner and cheaper.

Been coming here for years and always walk away satisfied. A few years back I came in to buy some creepers all the way from Orange County and unfortunately they broke after one use BUT they traded me no problem for the same pair, then when that pair of creepers was also faulty they let me keep the broken ones and exchanged me for a new pair of creepers! Best one stop shop for creepers and Docs!

I recently had a great experience at this store. I purchased a Dr Martens x Lazy Oaf collaboration bag, and I could not be happier. The owner was really kind, and the sales guy was slammed up to his eye balls in customers but still stopped to help me while I was in the store. He worked really hard to acknowledge every single person that walked in. I'm not the type to make a scene when I walk into a store, so I just sat down to look at the AMAZING collection of Dr Martens. He immediately greeted me even though he had 4 pairs of shoes in his hands and was walking to see another customer. Truly excellent service, a wonderful purchase experience and some of the best selection I have ever seen of Dr Martens.

Despite all the no-refund signs, we were assured that we could get a refund for the boots we purchased. Unfortunately, they would not give us a refund. Do not get fooled by any salesperson there. We did however get store credit but Lying to the customer is not a good way to do business. Poor customer service and beware.

If you are going to the mall or Amazon to buy Doc's or creepers, you are doing it wrong. Fred Perry, George Cox, whatever you need for your Mod/Punk/Rock & Roll lifestyle, this is the place to go. Poseurs is one of the last "Melrose" stores on Melrose. We need to keep them around, their selection is unlike any other store. Yaffa and her staff have treated my family like family for years. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and I am more than happy to support this local business.

Awesome place. Always making you feel welcome. I'm totally like a kid in a candy shop here. It's hard to resist all the cool attire. Miss Yafa is great with what she does.

I always go into Posers when I'm in the area. Huge selection of Fred Perry and Dr Martens plus tons of Punk Rock gear. An LA institution for British style and fashion. Staff is very helpful. Parking in the back (alley) and a bunch of cool murals too.

Nothing good to say about this place, everything is over priced, staff is rude and it's packed so tight with outdated goods it has to be a fire hazard. The older lady went from $139 on a pair of boots for the kid to $99 when they are $79 on the Docs website. Decided to take her to the official Dr.Martens store in Santa Monica and had a much better experience.

The owner has some cute dresses and she was really nice helping me find clothing up until I tried on a dress that didn't fit. She didn't have a bigger size so she joked that I could just lose weight. I don't think that comment is very funny so I decided to just leave.

PREPARE TO BE RIPPED OFF. I went into this store seeking a very specific type of book. They had almost exactly what I was looking for. It was marked at $398.00 which was inclusive of the tax. The older woman who waited on me (claimed to be the owner) said she was going to make me a great deal and let me walk out of the store with these boots for $349.00. She made a big deal out of how nice she was treating me. Shortly after getting home, I decided to look these boots up online. I found the exact same boot for $150.00 in numerous places. This store does have a fine array of product and has two locations next door to each other. My advice to anyone thinking about buying ANYTHING from these people.... go in the shop, find what you want and then go home and look up the exact product on the internet. At least that way, you will know, going back into the store, what the "true" value of the product is. It's no wonder, in this day and age, that brick and mortar stores are starting to become obsolete. Why go into a retailer and get ripped of when you can get the same product online for the actual retain price.

Cindi was awesome. I wish she would just follow my friends around and style us all day. My friend left with awesome outfits we would have never imagined picking. She's the best.

Omg, this store and the owners and employees are simply amazing ppl! I arrived just after they closed however, they were so sweet and kind to allow me to enter and look for a pair of boots when I told them I would be in the NY snow this week- and desperately needed a pair of durable boots. They were patient with me, allowed me to try different sizes, showed me different leather types, answered all my questions, and even let me run to the ATM when my debit card wasn't working in their store...THEY WAITED FOR ME!!! Lastly, they gave me a last minute discount on top of all their kindness. I will DEFINITELY be back soon! Sooooo happy with my purchase and service was over the top! Thanks for all the love. Jo.

I am an unabashed Mod--'been that way since the first time I was finally able to purchase Docs and Fred' in the early '80s. Living in Alaska, though, it became a headache to service my need for good music and fashion... Fast forward to '04 and my move to Ohio, one would think that my search for proper clobber would be finally sated (save for one spot in the Short North, one would be wholly incorrect). After my last deployment, I went on a month-long vacay, my last stop visiting my niece in La La Land. One night after some grub and record shopping, we hit up The Strip and we stumbled into Posers. Words escape me as to how truly wonderful and awe-inspired I felt after my experience--but I'll try... Jaffa (?) the owner was more than accommodating, handling multiple customers and my repeated questions, idiosyncrasies, and sizing issues (I'm 5'11", skinny/athletic and abhor the "baggy" trend--remember: Mod). My niece laughed as I dropped over a grand of my hard-earned taxpayer's money on treasure-after-treasure. I went back the next day before catching my flight, having to purchase a Perry carry-on for my second round of sartorial sensations. Simply, my fave clothing store in all of North America. If you're into Mod, original Skin, Suedehead, Northern Soul, Ska, or just want to up you gear selection from that A&F garbage, Posers is the only choice for Faces.
