Having a branch within the facility is very convenient. It has been closed due to construction at the moment. There are atms, but I prefer to go inside the bank for my transactions. Romano and Miriam are great in their customer service.

I've been using this Credit Union for a few years now and they do not disappoint. Dionne Arciga of member services has gone above and beyond to help me with any questions or concerns that I may have had. She helped me with paperwork, gone over step by step different options, and even thrown a couple things out there that I never would have thought of. She'll really go-to bat for you, and in my eyes, is a Miracle Worker. Thank you for all your help throughout the years, Dionne. I don't know what I would have done without you.

Hold times for customer service are 30-40 minutes. I see from other reviews is that this is an on-going concern over the years and does not seem to have been addressed by administration. The credit union also doesn't use modern day services, such as Zelle to electronically pay for services. I will be closing all accounts at First City Credit Union as soon as I can and moving funds to a bank that has more comprehensive services.

I've had pretty good experiences but apparently someone got my card info, duplicated it and had my PIN and used it in a city about 30 miles away at a large national bank's ATM. Where'd they get that info? I rarely use the card and never for buying anything. It's rarely used only to take money from their ATM or a partner credit union. I asked the teller if they had a data breach but she didn't answer. The whole thing was a pain but did get resolved. What I'm concerned with is I went to 2 different ATMs today to take money out and it's declined. I see my balance and the money is there. I called a few different First City phone numbers and they instantly go to a fast busy signal. Concerned. *Update 4 stars. I was able to withdraw $ today. I don't know what the deal was yesterday, but it works now. Still no idea why their phones were down. I've only been inside a branch a couple of times and the tellers weren't friendly, but could be just who I happened to come across.

Want to give a big shout out to LaShaundra Fields, I believe she goes by "Shauney" (apologies if spelled that wrong) . The credit union I work for failed to turn on their "Out of Service" on the ATM and it did not give me my withdrawal. Extremely upset, because they are limited on what they can do for a "share branch" transaction.. you would think they would do more for a 9 year employee. Long story short. She called me I want to say 5 or 10 minutes of submitted my dispute via email. She provided me with provisional credit while they look into the claim. I cannot thank you enough! It was a payday Friday today and to lose that money just like that was going to ruin my next two weeks until next paycheck. Thank you. Thank you, thank you! And overall. Thank you First City for always helping me out with my financial needs.

Back in November my husband and I decided it was time to purchase a new car. We have been long time members of First City Credit Union so of course we decided to obtain a loan through our bank. Our Loan Officer was Robert Yuniskis. Robert is awesome. He was so helpful and friendly. He really did an amazing job and made the whole experience so easy for us.

Horrible! Got here at 2:45 on a Monday. Signed in to open an account. One employee goes to lunch, another is helping a gentleman in Autoland and another gentleman is wrapping up with a customer. As soon as he's done, he walks over and says to me I have to help the customer in Autoland and will be right with you. Ok no problem.... But I'm still sitting there 30 MINUTES LATER!!!! Opening up a savings account takes no time. The employee should have at least asked what I needed done. He could have opened my account in no time then helped the guy who was there to buy a freaking car knowing that take FOREVER! He never acknowledged me again and said nothing when he saw me walk out!

Customer service is very poor when it comes to loan processing. Somewhat rude loan officer. Banking is good but not for loans (which they should focus on). I will just take my business (loan) somewhere else. They dont take in consideration your time with them and your credit score. Prospective Customers BEWARE. Bigger banks are more accomodating. Take your business else where guys. Take it from a guy who has been with them for 13 years, but they dont care bout how long you've been with them. How sad!

Have always received excellent service from the Temple Street Credit Union both via the phone or in person. The employees are customer service friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.

Have a car loan with this CU. They give no kind of grace period for payments so they can penalize you with a late fee the day after your due date. The address for mailing payments is a po box they don't check daily, if you want to pay online there's a $12 fee, it used to be $5. Can't wait to be done with them.

I will be canceling my account with first city. Everytime i call i am on hold for 20 mins. My card reached its expiration and i had to call to be told they sent it out 3 weeks ago, but I never recieved it or the activation letter. Oh no big deal to then though just my bank card going who knows where. I do not suggest you put your money in this credit union.
