They wanted to charge a $10 convenience fee to drop off a FedEx package with a label on it. Just use a drop box next door or go a block south on Flower to a proper FedEx shop which happily wants you to use FedEx and even has an automated drop off scan/box.I'm guessing this is a franchise trying to recoup the expensive hotel rent and business people in the hotel would drop stuff without racking up other charges, but still...I've used the computers there before and it was fine, but I'll just walk my business a block from now on.

Total rip-off. They advertise as a regular FedEx Office Print & Ship Center, but they charge a ridiculous "handling fee" which they don't tell you until you get there. This is on top of whatever you pay in shipping. For me, it was $10 to "handle" what was supposed to be a free return of a pair of pants! The return was also supposed to include free packaging, but they charged for that too. It's in a hotel, so I guess FedEx thinks they might as well take advantage of the captive clientele. Which is bad, but would be less bad if they were at least upfront about it. But none of this is clear in the directory listing!

Called ahead before going to drop off an international package. When I arrived to drop off the package, they told me they will charged for dropped off fee since they are inside of a hotel. Why did not they tell me when I call them?

Simply put.. Do not pay for priority shipping if anything as FEDEX is not telling you that they SUSPENDED ALL REFUNDS THROUGH JANUARY!!! Yes that's right..Shipped a package and payed 100 bucks for priority shipping and it's been four days and several lying agents telling me it was out for delivery or no..It's in Memphis or no..It's in a plane..Or ..we don't know where it is.. It's all true and a hot mess yes.. But... To not make refunds available for hard working people who's packages FEDEX does not deliver anywhere near the time payed for is despicable.. 100 bucks down the toilet so basically FEDEX is stealing money for guaranteed deliveries that have times and dates to be delivered that are simply not being honored.. People make mistakes sure but if people are in your store and paying premium rates for international priority shipping which FEDEX has completely screwed up then be honorable and post a sign up saying we do not offer refunds so we can go to ups. But.. To take peoples money for a service you do not provide and deny them access to a refund is criminal. You don't think we'd explore other options if they posted a sign? I sure would as it's like throwing your money away in a bad bet.. It's dishonest, sleazy and underhanded and please let people know as we are out the 100 bucks and the package is knowhere to be found.. The agents where clueless and each had a different status update and all four updates where wrong.. Protect yourself and your packages and hard earned money..

I had been going here for years parking in the Bonaventure lot below this FedEx. New hire, valet extraordinaire, Ruben has completely ruined this by needlessly complicating the parking process to drop off a prepaid package at this FedEx I can no longer go here. Bring back the old valet.

I just came here to ship a package and it was efficient and convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I wanted to write a review to let people know that they charge a surcharge on shipping because they are located in a hotel. The surcharge is based on the weight of your package and goes from $2-$50. It is basically a convenience fee for being in a hotel and it is corporate policy. If this is the best location for you, then the fee is probably worth it. If you can get to another location, then you'll save a few bucks. I just paid the $10 surcharge because it wasn't worth my time to go to another location once I was already there. But next time I'll go to a different location to save that money. I just wanted to let people know!

This was one of the best fedex's I've ever been to! It was my first time shipping with a client profile, and the staff was so incredibly patient and helpful. Shop was clean and well taken care of. They have a private parking lot so parking is not an issue! So important in La. practically no wait time. This was the best shipping experience I've ever had at a fed ex. Thank you kind staff for all your help! You rule!

Small location in the lobby of the Bonaventure hotel. If you punch in the address, it is a bit misleading.

I work in the Westin and went to drop off a package with a pre-paid shipping label. Was told I must be charged a "handling fee" which came out to $17.50 (depends on the size/weight of the box) for the sole reason that they were located inside a hotel. Defeats the purpose of a prepaid label? This is the only FedEx location that charges such a fee, and it's obviously to rip off hotel employees and hotel guests. Save yourself a headache and walk a few blocks down Flower St where there's another FedEx location and no absurd fee or shady business
